About JSSATE
Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara Academy of Technical Education which is also known as JSS Academy of Technical Education (JSSATE) is an engineering college situated in the city of Bangalore. JSSATE was established in the year of 1997 beneath the JSS Mahavidyapeetha which is located at Mysore. JSSATE is affiliated by VTU (i.e.) Visvesvaraya Technological University in Belgaum, Karnataka, India. It has been ranked by NIRF at 55 among the top universities in India in 2019.
Currently, seven different courses are available in the undergraduate (B.E.) program in JSSATE. In addition to the UG program, two courses in M.E. along with one business administration course also present in the post-graduation program. Around 120 candidates are carrying out their research studies in the JSSATE. There are approximately 2850 students are pursuing their studies in JSSATE.

JSSATE Bangalore Admission
Admissions to JSSATE for B.E. regular, lateral entry, M.E., and MBA are done based on the marks obtained by the candidates in entrance exams like KCET, DCET, GATE, and PGCET respectively. All these KCET, DCET, and PGCET examinations are conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Candidates wishing to study a course in JSSATE must enroll for the suitable entrance exams respective to the desired course they wish to study. JSS Academy of Technical Education Bangalore has a separate training and placement cell in the college campus. It provides special assistance and training for the students in order to get them placed in a good organization. A separate team of experienced persons is formed which keeps on exploring the new industrial organizations and all possible linkages among various areas of industries.
Placement statistics of JSSATE are depicted in the form of a graph which provides details of the number of companies and the total number of job offers provided between the academic years 2014-15 to 2018-19.
The highest package offered to the students in the 2018 placement is INR 40 LPA by the company Adobe. And similarly, the average package offered to the students by all the companies in the 2018 placement is about INR 10-12 LPA.

Following are the facilities offered by JSS Academy of Technical Education Bangalore to cater to the needs of the students as well as faculty members:
- Library: JSSATE consists of a centralized library that grants open and free access to all books and journals for every student. Numerous international journals are also made available for all the students to make use of it.
- Gym: A Gym or a fitness centre is present at the boy’s hostel. Any students or faculty can make use of the gym facility.
- Sports: Various indoor, as well as outdoor sports like Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom, Basketball, Handball, Throwball, Volleyball, Football, and Cricket, are been taught to students by well-trained sportspersons. A separate 200m athletic track, gymnastic facility, and separate area for Yoga were also present in JSSATE.
- Canteen: Different varieties of tasty foods are made available in the canteen for the students and the staff. The canteen set up in the campus is a very hygienic and a vegetarian canteen.
- ATM: ATMs are present within the college campus in order to meet the emergency of students and faculties. This ATM facility provides major support to the students residing at the college hostel.

I had applied for all the nearby colleges. For example colleges including RNSIT dbit SJBIT BNMIT , BIT and JSS. Rns IPS and bit are better than JSS and also a bit costly to afford. Regarding placements also and be it is better than JSS

I had applied for nearby colleges which includes RNSIT ,DBIT ,SJBIT, BNMIT , BIT. In rnsit and bit is better than jss but i couldnt get those colleges due to my rank and also jss is better than dbit and sjbit.

I chose JSS ACADEMY OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION bangalore , because of the opportunities and I had my cousins studying here and had gotten really good reviews on the college and also really loved the environment. I compared it to colleges like mount Carmel , new horizon and I just felt this college had more ease.

I had good opinion of the college since many of my fellow elders had been a part of this prestigious institution and decided to select this college for my counselling.On my first round when I got Jss I decided to get my admission without any wait. Admission had gone smooth and the helping faculty for admission guides well during the process which is completely hassle free.

I took the Kcet exams which is held in Karnataka.The application form we can get it from the Kcet website and it is available after we finish our 12th. The exam is conducted in Karnataka and the level of difficulty is medium as someone who has a clear cut basics of 11th and 12th class he or she can easily give the exams. It is a MCQ type paper. The improvement can be made in the administration process of the Kcet as it takes a long time to announce the exam results.

Well through comedk its around 2 lakh 70thousand and through cet its 1lakh. We didnt write any entrance exam to get to this college , its either through cet or comedk or management. The admission was an easy process we had to just take some documents with few xerox
