The annual festival is one of the best in the city
All the faculty members here are very well qualified and have good knowledge.
The hostel and mess facilities are on top. you will have a great hostel life here.

Dislikes

Maintenance of hostel toilet is too bad no
Hostel food is not good at all not even a single is not good
Some faculties are good but some faculties are bad also so beware of them

JSSATEB Experince from Students perspective

Likes

The Teaching and the way teachers help you if you need any help
The campus and environment of the college, full of green tress very good AQI
Facilities available for students including parking and canteen

Dislikes

The placements , like the companies coming and the amount they are paying are very less compared to other colleges
the syllabus they teach is 5 to 8 years outdated and very old, not relavent to the required market
B E is more focused on theory and less practical exposure, please choose B Tech if available or a different college

Placement Experience:

Placments are average, company comes, but they do not hire more people, the interview process is very difficult even for companies offering a package of 4.5LPA, not many companies come, even if they come competiiton is very high, so please upskill yourselves, and learn all that is required for placements even if it is difficult or getting a job is very tuff unless you have influence to get into comapnies through relatives or your parent's friends.

Likes

The teaching faculty and how supportive they are.
The freedom we get compared to other colleges, lesser restrictions.
The crowd around the campus is quite lively and fun

Dislikes

The campus facilities such as washrooms could be better

Placement Experience:

The students of 7th sem and 8th sem are eligible for placements. Up until now 5-6 companies have visited our campus including kick drum for 16 lpa, Accenture for 4-6 lpa and itc for 4.5 lpa. The percentage of the students getting placed is average at the moment and better than last year. I have landed a job, I am going to work for two years and hopefully shift abroad by then.

college life in nutshell

Likes

the functionality of the classes as they begin from 9 am and go about till 1pm everyday. On certain days of the week classes extend till 3 or 4pm depending on the labs or extra classes. But this usually is once or twice a week.
In terms of attendance this is very linient, does not mean you bunk everytime and have an attendance of 30%. the standard attendance is 75%, but people are allowed to write the exam with 60%+ attendance.
College is pretty spacious and wide with a big hill at the entrance.

Dislikes

The teaching is not up to mark as they are only focused on the marks.
Parking is not very optimized as its always crowded and the groundwork is not good.
Lot of written assignments for a branch which is focused on software development

Course Curriculum Overview:

course curriculum is good but not updated and up the mark according to todays standards as again the course only prioritizes students to score well but not to stand out in the open to face the real world scenarios. well every area needs improvement as they need to start letting the students to work on practical solutions like coding assignments than write question answers. Exams are once a month, and its peaceful.

Likes

Quality of infrastructure is very good, it has well equipped labs and furnitures.
There is good number of placements taking every year and it depends on our dedication also.
Teaching is very nice , teachers are also ready to extra class if students want more Explanation

Dislikes

The i disliked is the timings of college.
There is no much communication between juniors ans seniors
There is no much preference for cultural programs or any other fests.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts from 6th semester and few will also be placed in 5th semester also. Good placement percentage. If placement doesn't happen then we can also get into other companies if we have good skills.

Every year there will be a fest called verve
In our college nature is beautiful and greenery
In our college ise faculty is so friendly

Dislikes

Our college Girls Hostel management is so bad
This year placements are very low , no one getting placed
There is no auditorium in our college.

Placement Experience:

As of now there is no placements Very less number of companies are visiting our college for hiring. Only 20% students are getting placed. The average package is 4-5 lakhs And the highest package is 40lpa

Faculty at very supportive including the principal and the cordinator theya re very supportive
The library are very big and well maintained
The campus is a lish green environment it is taken care almost every day to keep it clean

Dislikes

The washroom are not well maintained the water is not properly maintained
The electricity board are not kept will hiden
The class from door and the bench are not maintained well many of them are broken or of different sizes

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible to enter campus placement in 2nd year only. Artel ,jio, phone pay,google ,tata etc. are few companies that visited last year . The highest package goes up to 24 lack and more and the average package come to 4 to 5 lack per year. 70 percent student get jod in the campus placement only If I get the decided salary then i would countinue in the same field or less I will perceive Higher studies

My College

Likes

I liked the college campus and it big and quiet good and we have a good cricket playground
There is library inside the campus which is good and big for studying and it has large amount of books with good quality and it has e-books facility too
There are many fest and other activities conducted in this campus

Dislikes

There is no support for sports i haven't seen a good sports guy
Faculty is too strict in academics they help us in every way but they are very strict
Canteen is not all good it's small and prices are hikes simply with no good quality of food is available

Course Curriculum Overview:

computer science engineering is very good and has a future but disadvantage is that evryone is into that Field which lack of employment . Cse is very helpful in evry field . It is quite difficult and easy too

Honest review of JSS academy of technical education Bangalore

Likes

The faculty is very highly skilled and educated, they’re always there for the students
Very high priority is given to academics by the faculty
The campus is very well maintained, it’s full of greenery and also has a lake inside campus

Dislikes

The campus is uphill, so lot of walking has to be done
The college is not yet recognised as a university, so students cannot avail any student discounts when purchasing something
There is no metro connectivity and the college does not offer bus services, but there’s a dedicated BMTC bus stop right beside college gate

Placement Experience:

Campus placements and internships are present in JSS. There are many good companies that come to the in campus interviews and the placement percentage is more than 60%. The average package is 700000 with the highest package being 4300000. The college also provides opportunities for students coming up with startup ideas. The college funds the startup if it's feasible and viable.

Likes

Placement record was pretty well as per the preveious year records
Infrastructure is realy good, the teachers are very helpfull
The campus is at pretty good location surrounded with greenre

Dislikes

The attendance policy need 85% to sit for exams
Its a non autonomus college so it follows VTU instructions
The wifi speed is very slow that is a big problem because in campus area there are hardly any networks

Placement Experience:

From semester 6th you are eligible for the campus placements Companies like amazon, adobe, tcs visit every year heighest package was 21 lakh and average is about 5 to 6 lakhs almost 90% student got the placement

Likes

I like the fact that its peaceful and has a good environment .The positive atmosphere makes us feel vibrant.
The discipline and anti ragging awarness and policy makes the campus even more healthy.
the faculty,teaching,mentorship is A+.Infrastructure, campus,learning facilities is topnoch.

Dislikes

Maybe the travelling part as its a bit far from few places.
