Likes

I liked the college campus and it big and quiet good and we have a good cricket playground
There is library inside the campus which is good and big for studying and it has large amount of books with good quality and it has e-books facility too
There are many fest and other activities conducted in this campus

Dislikes

There is no support for sports i haven't seen a good sports guy
Faculty is too strict in academics they help us in every way but they are very strict
Canteen is not all good it's small and prices are hikes simply with no good quality of food is available

Course Curriculum Overview

computer science engineering is very good and has a future but disadvantage is that evryone is into that Field which lack of employment . Cse is very helpful in evry field . It is quite difficult and easy too

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 307000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly we need to pay 3.07lacs every year and 9 lac donation ,if your getting through management kota and i entered to management so I need to pay 3.07 lac evry year and it was CSE branch . And for Sem end exams fee is 1.6k and there is no other fee My friend joined through kcet and his fees is around 1.6lac There are many scholarships .

Campus Life

There is one main event in our college that's verve which big event yearly once it conducted and there also many fest on going every month and every week There is many varieties of books in library and it big and hudge the library looks quite There is not much support in sports but there is little support in sports Classrooms and good and clean without any litter The seniors help us

Admission

I choose college because it was near to my house and it had good name and reputation for the reason I joined I didn't apply to other colleges i directly got into this college I got here through management kota

Faculty

The faculty is too strict over here about the academics . They are help us in every way to reach out college name . The college faculty supports in every manner that has to been done and help in understanding the concepts etc...My the best faculty is from Chemistry department Roopashree She makes her class enjoyablr and interesting one and it is good to have a teacher They are 8 sem end exams totaly and im in 2nd sem and 1sem went very well

Night Life

Im not in hostel or pg to witness this thing during night but I have heard it very calm and peaceful over there and it gives good vibes There is good shopping mart beside we get everything over there The place to hangout inside the campus is a small pond and cricket field There is temple beside the college which of Shiva it very beautiful

LIFE AT NITK

Placement Experience:

Placements at NITK Surathkal are very good overall, and the EEE department consistently sees a high percentage of students getting placed-85% to 90%+ However the placement profiles and salaries vary a lot depending on whether you go core electrical jobs , software/IT jobs we students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester companies start arriving fro pre placement talks and tests ,some students also get PPOs done in the 3rd year summer internshis companies visiting nitk for eee students are: TEXAS INSTRUMENTS SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC SIEMENS ABB L&T TATA POWER BOSCH. My personal plans after getting degree is either get placed in a good company then later prepare for civils services examination.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The VTU syllabus was bit difficult to crack, but the course we good , it was a fun studing the syllabus, but the syllabus was not related to the placement, we struggle a lot to get placed in the final year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since my kcet rank was low I want a good clg so I choose this college I choose electrical and electronics. also I'm very interested in electrical department I wanted eee branch so I choose this Curriculum actually helps you to learn and solve real world problems since it's a core branch you have to concentrate on our syllabus. We get to learn lot of things also we have 4 labs there you can learn practically . In our clg they additionally we have lab Called skill lab there you can learn lot of things additionally . I feel they should add some programming language as subject in eee additionally even though we learn that in 1st year there should be continuous so . Even our colleges provide boot camps for 10 days every sem where experienced trainer will come and teach you but I feel that's not enough they have include programming languages as our part of curriculum. In internals they provide 1hour time for for 30 marks and sem exams 3hr for 100 marks so it's manageable .

I applied to many college like sjbit,global ,jnnce,pes,rv,bms and many more They above were all need a higher grade than what I had scored. Jss was near to my home and i had a direct bus root for the college and it has a big campus and a lot of good grades form the students to back it up I couldn't get into bms ,pes or rv because my grades weren't good enough. I chose this college because it's near to my house and I personally feel it's better than all the colleges in the vicinity, which includes RNSIT and SJBIT.
