Course Curriculum Overview

4

I selected this cource because i was always interested in computer science. I will not say this will fully prepare you for the real-world applications but yes it can give you a good kick start There is some area of improvement in teaching like firstly they teaches very slow and at they end sometimes they even left one module In every sem there will be two internal exams and one external exams generally odd sems are hard and even sems are easy

Internships Opportunities

5

Compnies like tcs, springboot, justpay, minetree offeres the stipend up to 20k i am not sure about the roles but they will be software related Sometimes they offer you jobs so after completing your degree you can directly join them.

Placement Experience

5

From semester 6th you are eligible for the campus placements Companies like amazon, adobe, tcs visit every year heighest package was 21 lakh and average is about 5 to 6 lakhs almost 90% student got the placement

Fees and Financial Aid

I came to this college through COMEDK so my fee was 280000 and the 27000 was the other fee. Student who came from Kcet have almost lower than half the fee of COMEDK fee. Management quota you have to pay 1000000 in first year than you you have to pay 1 lakh each year for rest of your cource

Campus Life

5

The fest will be held in even sems there will mainly be verbs. There is a wide range of books avilable in the library of jss it is located at b-block. Classrooms are really neat and clean, there are projectors in every classroam. To be honest there are no sport except basketball football and cricket. Many fourth year students run social groups, clubs and you and can join them for extra curricular activities

Admission

I applied for Jee mains but i did'nt got good rank then i applied for COMEDK and i got cse in this college for 18k rank, I choose this college as compared to other private colleges here only limited number of students are there in cse so the competition is not very high Admission processes for our college is simple you have to go through COMEDK counselling there will be three rounds in every round you will have 4 options of freeze seat, accept and upgrade, reject and upgrade, reject. Except reject in all three option you have to pay the initial fee of 2.8 lakh.

Faculty

5

The faculty student ratio is like 1:6. Teachers are helpful but in some cases they lack the proper english if you dont know kannada you might face problem Miss Bindu ma'am of chemistry department she is really sweet and helpful There is no as such faculties that i didn't like There are bassically 2 internal exams and 1 external exams you get marks 50 for the internal of which these two internal exam are converted to 25 marks and rest 25 marks are of assignment/activity etc, rest 50 marks are of the external.

Interview Experience

5

You have to give a test of COMEDK and no interview is required you have to fill the form of COMEDK the minimum criteria is 45% in Maths and Physics you have to study 12th and 11th NCERT syllabus only basic to midrate question will be there.

Night Life

4

The boys hostel closes at 10 pm and opens at 5 am on the other hand girls hostel opens at 5 am and closes at 8pm. Girls hostel is with in the campus area where as the boys hostel is little outside the campus area. All market closes at 10 pm sharp still you can order from blinkit and zapto they are 24x7 College is not so much big so there are not that much hangout area in the college

Placement Experience:

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities
