Course Curriculum Overview
Though the curriculum isn't that good as it doesn't contain any valuable stuff for our future, the course opens up opportunities for us to enter into the industry. This gateway is often hard to find and is of great help
Internships Opportunities
There are plenty of internship opportunities but I've taken up all three of my internships, two of which I will start in the 8th sem off campus. There are two projects of importance including the major and minor project, both of which are really useful, some might say more than the curriculum.
Placement Experience
The students of 7th sem and 8th sem are eligible for placements. Up until now 5-6 companies have visited our campus including kick drum for 16 lpa, Accenture for 4-6 lpa and itc for 4.5 lpa. The percentage of the students getting placed is average at the moment and better than last year. I have landed a job, I am going to work for two years and hopefully shift abroad by then.
Fees and Financial Aid
2.5 lakhs per year + 6 lakhs as a donation at the start of the curriculum, the course fees keeps steadily increasing each year and is quite high for the batches after me as is the case in all the other colleges at the moment
Campus Life
Verve is our main fest which is on of the best fests in Bangalore, we enjoy our time a lot. Apart from that we also have our CSE branch fest called Anveshan which I am a core member of. The college life and the crowd is really good. Our library is pretty vast and has a lot of books. Sprots facilities are available although I'm not into sports clubs much. There are no such student run portals that I'm aware of.
Admission
I applied to rns global and many other colleges, but at the end I chose Jss because I liked the freedom th students get in the campus to shape their own futures and the travel time being quite low from my home.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is pretty good and there's never a shortage of teachers. I pretty much like all the faculty as they are really supportive of our decisions and help guide us forward. The exams are quite easy and if anyone fails it's because of their negligence.
Night Life
My nightlife activities don't usually revolve anywhere around the college as I'm a day scholar, but due to the large amount of shops and restaurants around the college like skydive and global, I assume it much be pretty good for the college students, I usually tend to go out further with my friend group.
