Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is made on a year to year basis, readings and cases are chosen by the professors before the course starts. Being constantly updated, it usually is exactly what you require and would apply in the outside world. Improvements could be reducing the weightage of reading components, which currently is majority of the course outline. One exam usually at the end of the trimester (3 months) and sometimes a midterm in between depending on the course
Placement Experience
By the end of 4th Year, you're eligible to sit for placements. Tier 1 Law firms like Khaitan, S&R associates, Trilegal, CAM, SAM etc are the major employers. Highest package usually comes from the offers by the Magic Circle firms which are international legal firms, nearly 80L Nearly a 100% placement percentage, given that it is the top law school in the country. I plan on going for corporate after my degree.

Tuition Fee - 2,21,590 Hostel Fee - 36,650 Mess charges - 43,575 No separate fees for other categories or quota Financial aid is provided on the National Law School of India University website on a case to case basis by the Financial Department.
Campus Life
NLSTIAM - mooting competition hosted by NLS - May Strawberry fields - Annual Fest - usually March NLSD - debating competition hosted by NLS We host the largest library in South Asia rivaling the Supreme Court's collection. You can read more about it on the NLSIU website. The facilities in the classrooms are top-notch with speakers, microphones, projectors, AC, etc Sports include frisbee, basketball, football, volleyball, tennis, we have grounds for all these sports. We have various student-run social groups such as Committees like ADR, MCS, LnD etc. We also have various collectives like Nature club, art club etc. All this information is on the NLSIU website.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are great. Newly built buildings, 24/7 electricity, hot water etc. Registration for hostel happens inside the campus once admissions are over. The hostels are very affordable, paying around 36k for a year.
Admission
Admission process is through CLAT. The registration can be done through the consortium for CLAT's website. The exam is conducted once every year and is based on logical reasoning, English, math, legal reasoning and GK.
Faculty
One of the best in the country, professors come from PHD backgrounds, Law Commission members etc. The faculty to student ratio is 1:60 They're extremely approachable. You can visit them during office hours too.
