Course Curriculum Overview

3

I was always interested in law. So it made me choose BBA LLB the course is good based on the concept and topics in it . But in terms of real world applications it is little off and not always applicable in real world applications.

Internships Opportunities

3

Students are allowed to choose any firm by their own for intership if they don't know any or not able find any they can approach the intership officer of the college who will get them intership from college side in any firm. Most of the times in the early semester it has been a NGO Firm Intership of 21 days is mandatory for each semester.

Placement Experience

3

Placements are okay not so good because of the field as Law doesn't have much placements because it is only given in corporate sector and other things people only have to get employment like for Self employment.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Minimum Fees per year 125150 which will be changing every year and their is scholarship for students who belong to SCST and other minorities based on their marks . The first installment is 25000 that is the admission fees which is included in the 125150 but registration or admission form fees is 1500 which is not refundable even for the candidates who apply and not get admission. Their are other fees like exam fees and college also makes buy exam books and other books from the shop they tell to buy from.

Campus Life

3

Campus life is good because the student community is very vibrant. The college fests are good and give students best memories for students. The sports opportunities are limited has the facilities for some games are limited. The student clubs are all governed by college so everything is limited evening joining of it .

Admission

I completed my 12th graduation from Christ Academy Junior college which was very good and I completed my 12th CBSE commerce. It was very good experience and good quality education which I got in Christ Academy Junior college so I thought maybe be the Christ Academy Institute of Law would also be equally good . But it turns out bad . The admission criteria is filling of admission form and which is 1500 RS for filling it which is not refundable and after filling the students are shortlisted and called for entrance test if they have not attempted CLAT and then interview is done and given admission. The admission experience is good that is how they fool students by not telling anything about college like rules and their illegal practices.

Faculty

3

The college faculties are good expect few but overall the faculties are good. The exams are difficult but manageable but the only problem is college gives us remedials for even scoring less in exam and make money from playing with students career. Principal is very bad and he also does illegal fraud with public in name of god selling stones as God's gift.

Night Life

2

Even though I am not a hostelite but my friends who are I have talked to them the hostel rules are also very strict the max time to enter the college gate is 7:30 pm and after that it is prohibited and the students have to take prior permission in order to extend timings or to stay outside.

Placement Experience:

The placements of Christ University Bangalore, are pretty decent. Students are eligible to get placements for the 9th semester, and there are a lot of companies that come for campus placements like Shardul Amrchnad Mangaldas and Cyril Amrchand Mangaldas, Khaitan, Puviyah and co., Trilegal and etc. The highest placement that went last year was 23 lakh, and the average placement is 6-7 lakhs. My plan is to do litigation after getting a degree.

It's the law firms like Wadia Gandhy, Dsk Legal, Trilegal and others. Some merchant bankers too are now a part of our placements thing and this is where it is getting interested as we are getting to explore new opportunities. Pay as of now is around 4-5 LPA but I hope it increases to atleast 10 by 2030.

The university has a placement cell which is helpful. They help us get internships in which place we want (only if we are eligible). The placements are nice which are reported by the seniors. We got to know that most of the seniors had a starting package of 7L per annum.

Mostly it's the law firms like Indus Law, Globus, PICT and others. The payment scale therefore is less when it is compared with NLSIU or other NLUs. Some private companies like the UB Group and ITC amoung other others are also coming to hire students who have chosen corporate law as their main electives.
