What Students Say
Likes
- The faculty is awesome. Young and energetic, their classes are the best and interactive. Love how they teach and I never get bored!
- Many events, programs and committee programs are organised where we can learn, enjoy and get exposure at the same time.
- The classrooms are really spacious, what's best is that the windows are really large and you can get fresh air. There's two lifts provided and the infrastructure of the campus is so cool!
Dislikes
- The canteen needs to improve, the food tastes crappy but it's fine if you purchase a packaged food.
- There should be more cultural fests in the college. But we rarely get any.
Course Curriculum Overview
A professional course with the best college fees is the main perks of this college. It is even a Joseph's College, which is one of the best colleges in Bangalore. We have certificate courses, outreach programmes, committee events, etc. The teaching method is interesting, teachers don't rely on textbooks but on activities, cases, programmes, etc. The cousre is not difficult or not easy, so it's moderate. If you study, you can easily ace it. We have to go for internships too.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for BA LLB course is rs 180000/-, there's charges for parking (if you have a vehicle) and you have to buy your own food in the canteen. Certificate courses are also provided which is not compulsory but you have to pay a fee of ?1500/-. Internships are provided to students to provide more exposure and this can help you in getting placed from the college. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, etc. visit the college and check on the students and place them. Humanities course cost alot more cheaper than commerce. Overall, studying a professional course at this fee is the best perks you can get in this college.
Campus Life
We have fests every month like Malang, etc. we even have talent hunt, tedx event, cultural fests, etc. there may be more coming in the coming years, since this is a new college, there may be less events, but trust me, you'll enjoy your campus life here. There are clubs, committees, camps, internships, outreach programmes organised by the college. We have a really big e-library with wifi and a large collection of books available to read and prepare for our exams.
Admission
I wanted to study a professional course. One more reason why I applied to a different college is because this college delayed in announcing the shortlisted candidates. So I applied to St. Joseph's University as my backup college. I got my shortlisted mail in the month of August. I had my interview in May. The admission process included 2 rounds of interview and one entrance exam. The entrance test included general knowledge, English, law, political science.
Faculty
There are more than 100 faculties in the college and there are more than 1000+ students in the college. All the teachers are very professional and young. Their classes are really interactive, and you will never get bored attending the classes! There's exam every semester and this exam is from the KSLU board so it can be tough, but if you study and not one day before the exam, then you can easily score your paper. Corrections of the paper are not done by the college, it is done by the KSLU board.
Other Applied Colleges
St Joseph's University | Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA] (Finance)
I wanted to study a professional course, I showed interest in law and humanities more than BBA
