Likes
- The girls to boy ratio is stable. We pretty much have equal number of girls as boys. And there is no discrimination between genders whatsoever.
- College has good professors and it is a growing institution
- It is located in Center part of the city, being near to various law firms and all the courts
Dislikes
- Placement not that great, there haven't been any placements yet. But however the institution is building it.
- Library needs to be built well. There aren't much books and librarian is senselessly strict.
- There is no canteen of our own per say. A good canteen is really appreciated.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is standard and updated. It is highly relevant. We have all the main law subjects covered and it is spaced out smartly through the semesters.
Internships Opportunities
Since it's a new institution they are working. But however we have had internships with CAM, Rego&Rego Advocates, Chambers of Srivatsa, Senior Advocate and much more. Professors however personally guide you here.
Fees and Financial Aid
My course is BBA LLB. The fees for this course is Rs.1,11,000 for my batch. However, this is being increased for the coming batches being upto Rs.1,20,000. There is scholarship for those students who have financially issues.
Campus Life
Made amazing Friends. Pretty simple and calm campus. Near to MG road and other central city attractions so hanging out with friends is fun and hassle-free. There is nearby Metro and bus stops as well. There are hostels and PGs available as well nearby.
Admission
St. Joseph's is a renowned name. And also, the fees are comparatively less and also the institution is under State university. Furthermore, the strategic location being centre of the city and also all the courts are nearby as well as law firms. It is easy to intern as well.
Faculty
Most of the professors are not only knowledgeable but also good guides. Some of the best professors we have are Geo Varghese, Sudeep Sudhakaran, Simona Waheed, Jyoti Singh, Bhaskar Sinha, Moses. Our college comes under KSLU so we have semester exams and internal assessment. They are pretty simple and easy to score.
Night Life
After six on weekdays no student is allowed to be at college. Sundays and other holidays college is closed so no entry then as well. Only during Moot court competitions it goes on till night, maximum being 10'o clock.
