Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum is standard and updated. It is highly relevant. We have all the main law subjects covered and it is spaced out smartly through the semesters.

Internships Opportunities

2

Since it's a new institution they are working. But however we have had internships with CAM, Rego&Rego Advocates, Chambers of Srivatsa, Senior Advocate and much more. Professors however personally guide you here.

Fees and Financial Aid

My course is BBA LLB. The fees for this course is Rs.1,11,000 for my batch. However, this is being increased for the coming batches being upto Rs.1,20,000. There is scholarship for those students who have financially issues.

Campus Life

4

Made amazing Friends. Pretty simple and calm campus. Near to MG road and other central city attractions so hanging out with friends is fun and hassle-free. There is nearby Metro and bus stops as well. There are hostels and PGs available as well nearby.

Admission

St. Joseph's is a renowned name. And also, the fees are comparatively less and also the institution is under State university. Furthermore, the strategic location being centre of the city and also all the courts are nearby as well as law firms. It is easy to intern as well.

Faculty

4

Most of the professors are not only knowledgeable but also good guides. Some of the best professors we have are Geo Varghese, Sudeep Sudhakaran, Simona Waheed, Jyoti Singh, Bhaskar Sinha, Moses. Our college comes under KSLU so we have semester exams and internal assessment. They are pretty simple and easy to score.

Night Life

2

After six on weekdays no student is allowed to be at college. Sundays and other holidays college is closed so no entry then as well. Only during Moot court competitions it goes on till night, maximum being 10'o clock.

Placements are okay not so good because of the field as Law doesn't have much placements because it is only given in corporate sector and other things people only have to get employment like for Self employment.

The university has a placement cell which is helpful. They help us get internships in which place we want (only if we are eligible). The placements are nice which are reported by the seniors. We got to know that most of the seniors had a starting package of 7L per annum.

Placements are so so as it's a new college and it's upcoming. You might have to build your network through internships you do during the course of law schooling. The placement cell is active but very limited opportunities. But I myself have gotten into SBI through the placement cell.
