First I brought the application from bishop cotton College Banglore, then I filled out the form and submitted it to the college I got the call for admission, and then there were options to select the courses and I got selected and joined.
The admission process is smooth. there is no entrance exam. The cut off was 70 back then. The overall infrastructure of the college is cool and peaceful. There is also an instalment given for fees if needed. The teachers are friendly.
I had 1st ly applied in bishop and I got there as well after applying for the college there will be a small interview after u get selected in the interview they will ask u to pay the fees Which u can pay half or full that depends on you And minimum mark required is above 60% in your 10th and 12th . And that's it simple ????
For admission, there were no minimum marks required to get admitted. Ages are too not required. The process of admission was too good and easier. They asked for a marks sheet xerox passport size photo. The counselling day was also good interesting to listen to.
1. I applied for the college Bishop Cotton Women's Christian College and the admission was offline. 2. I availed of the general quota. 3. Minimum percentage to get admitted for the course was 60% and there was no age limit to apply for the course. 4. Admission was offline and the candidate was directly admitted if one has secured 60% and above and moreover if one is Christian they were getting the first preference.
All the faculties are equally good but my most favourite is Jyothi mam she took criminal laws i.e IPC & Cr.P.C She makes the subject curious & also easy. She gives a lot of illustrations while explaining the subjects.
The course is 5 years long, with 10 semesters. The course focuses on both management subjects like Economics etc along with the core subjects of law and constitution, contracts etc are also taken along.
For a course which extends as long as 5 years with 10 semesters, the course has vast number of subjects. From Indian perspective to all other international perspectives, we are taught about laws ranging from family, contracts to business environment, research etc. We also have an internship and moot court exercise as a part of our syllabus in the 10th semester to get a real life experience in the field of law. Law is not only about working in courts and huge firms, in our college we are taught that law is applicable in almost every aspect in our lives.
My electives are business environment, managerial economics, English and elements of research. The staff is good. Am very much satisfied with the teaching.
