KSLU Admissions

The University has almost 92 colleges that have some specific selection procedure of entrance and personal test for a few courses. Admission to the 3-year courses, in all colleges under the jurisdiction of Karnataka State Law University, is strictly based on the Merit, Based on the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination. Candidates can obtain the application forms both online and offline.

How to Apply?

For applying offline, candidates can obtain the application form directly from the office of the Karnataka State Law University,
While applying online, candidates can obtain the application form from the official website of the university.
the application fee is INR 1000 for the general category and INR 500 for the SC/ST category students.
The payment of the application fee can either be done through a demand draft drawn in the favor of the Finance officer of KSLU ( Karnataka State Law University) or through a challan from any SBI branch or by credit/debit card and net banking.
At the time of admissions, the candidates should have the following documents:

Transfer Certificate

Eligibility Certificate for Non-Karnataka Students.

The University has its own international Law Moot Court Competition and also a Kannada Moot Court Competition to provide an excellent opportunity to Law Students to hone their skills. The University's extension arm caters to the legal aid and legal literacy of the society.

The library is to support the academic and research needs of KSLU students, researchers, faculty, and staff. The KSLU Library is committed to providing the quality Library and Information Service to all Users. It has a rich collection of books, e-books, journals, magazines, newspaper subscriptions, bound volumes, dissertations, bare acts, and online databases. Reference Services is an important service offered by the library which helps the users to make full use of the resources available in the library. References Services are offered by the Library Staff during weekdays. to help readers locate and make effective use of resources in various formats. References Service provides reference and research assistance to Students, Researchers, Faculty, and Staff of KSLU.

Sports: To bring back the fading integral importance of sports and to achieve the ultimate goal, KSLU has staidly initiated the sports activities. The University has conducted various selections, intercollegiate and the university teams have participated in different competitions. Through this, they try to support the student in terms of Physical fitness, Mental health, and efficiency, Social-moral character, Emotional Expression and control, Appreciation, Health Physical of organic development. My dreamisto get a name in the professional field so I opted to choose law course and in reputed college so I chooses this college In this college the teaching level is high and I leaned so many things here, I gained much knowledge here. Was a good experience I had received in this college, my lectures are motives each and every student to move forward in their professional life one of the excellent college it was. Here library is awesome it has so many collections of books like law related books,newspapers,manual,and mazims and AIR books to gain knowledge more and more One if the extraordinary thing to gain knowledge Moot court helps us practical subject body language and appearance in the court everything we learned in this college Evey one is supportive high level Teaching the best guidance is super Exam timing is strict 3 hours exam its not so difficult and not too easy it depends on how much we prepared for exam Decides by us

I did law in sarada vilas law college, hubli univerdity Compare to other college the fees structure is God here, I paid at first 25000 rupees to get admission in this college I joined in 2020 for 3years LLB course For 1st year I paid 25000 2nd year fees is reduced to 17500 rupees 3rd year the same fees paid rupees 17500 I applied for schorship of vidyasiri every year during my course Category wise received the scholarship from college I got 5000 scholarship amount on the basis of marks scored in that year The tuition fees,caution feed,registration fees,development fees,every fees involves whole fees of 25000 at fees later on it reduced Our senior paid the same fees then and then Now our college raised the fees to get admission in our college fees starts from 45000 rupees SC and ST seats also there management selected the seats through notification Over all this was a good college

Students views about the campus life

In sarada vilas law college, university of hubbali is very awesome college. The campus of the college is very good to see because where ever you see it's full of green, so many plants and tree were grown and campus us awesome to see When cones to library consist if variety or s many books are available to read in law related so many books and now computer system also available to learn computer knowledge Sport activity also there thy will conduct and distribution of prizes in the annual day to the winners NSS camp also they made for social activities Class rooms are good and clean they conduct many programs like college webinars,seminars and fun weeks We loved all and enjoyed those days spent there

The faculties of this college is well and good. Because they treated each and Evey students equally and motivate everyone to achieve their desire. The teaching level is good. The college management appointed the panel legal advocate to that college to teach practical subjects to students. Guest lectures also there to teach the practical subjects it's truly appreciate The college is good and Even the lectures also good and experienced. I loved all and encourage to participate the students in every program they will give assignment and moot court problems to help the inbuilt of the students to help for law practice of their future, They will provide short notes and the arrange internals and exams and also viva to assign the marks over all one of the best college which helps the poor people to complete the law degree in offerdble cost the college is good ad faculties also good the play ground is huge, faculties teach both in kannada and English language and they provide notes and we can borrow for limited period textbooks or reference books in library, computer lab also very good Over all one of the good college

I chooses this Sarada vilas law college because it was a good and old and reputed college built on 19's it was a century history and chief minister siddarammaiah also studied law course in this same college so I got inspired by these things so I Choosed The campus is awesome and faculties also well knowledge persons and encourage each and every students They celebrate programs, fests and so many students used to enjoy and so much interest in accadamic also I got a good friends here everyone is good and supportive one I had a good memories in this college Admission process is through offline application and submitting the required documents the selected candidate name will come in the list on the notice board of the college and they will call them personally through phone

Night Life

In this college our favorite hangout spot is campus play ground field and public park near to college Library is one of the place to group discussion and in the time of viva Its safe to roam around at night Hostel is not available Even canteen also not available in this college We have to go out to get food like amruth veg hotel, ashirvad hotel and so on to get peace we will visit raghavendra temple for pray to god The best place it was we enjoyed the college days. We loved overall and motivated and got many collections of memories

College is very strict and will make you follow the rules which i feel will give you discipline which is must needed for lawyers and make you prepared for that

Admission:

College was coincident I know plan of joining law but at the end moment at decided to do law or engineering so I did not had enough time to apply for other colleges all College were almost fulled they were few Limited seats available in this college and this college had a good name because of the RV Engineering so had asked few peoples and their college the college is good but I can't fit in if you are more over study and won't care about the campus and life then this college is actually pretty good in terms of Academics and the exposure

It is located in Center part of the city, being near to various law firms and all the courts
The girls to boy ratio is stable. We pretty much have equal number of girls as boys. And there is no discrimination between genders whatsoever.
College has good professors and it is a growing institution

Dislikes

Library needs to be built well. There aren't much books and librarian is senselessly strict.
There is no canteen of our own per say. A good canteen is really appreciated.

St. Joseph's is a renowned name. And also, the fees are comparatively less and also the institution is under State university. Furthermore, the strategic location being centre of the city and also all the courts are nearby as well as law firms. It is easy to intern as well.

I liked the Experience that the staff they have here. The infrastructure and facilities are good..there is good safety as there are security gaurds everywhere in the campus
There is good support for sports background students by the college.
There are cameras equipped everywhere in the campus for safety

Dislikes

Congested parking space for two wheelers in law block

Admission:

This college was nearby my house and it is situated in the heart of the city.. thus it is quite safe. There are alternative Good colleges in law those can be St Joseph's law college, christ school of law and others.

They provide good exposure, helps one to acquire human values, moral, empathy etc.
They provide friendly and healthy atmosphere.

Dislikes

Very strict correction from kslu board .

Admission:

I didn't apply to any other colleges than this . I chose sjcl because of its reputation and teaching methods . They use more of practical methods to make it easier for students to understand the actual needs of the society. The selection procedure had three steps, entrance exam followed by two interviews.

The college workers who had seen us like their own childrens
Library which was provided for betterment of students

Dislikes

The degree students who shall come and block our way by siting in the stairs
Auditorium is hadd became very small and conjested
Some students pershality after they getting certain powers

Yess the ranking is more better than other law colleges and this particular college has so many year of experience as well good faculty members also and compare to other colleges my college has provided more opportunities to the children

I like the way the events are conducted.
The girls are comparitively more in my class. The ratio would be 70:30
Sports is gove importance in our college.

Admission:

I never applied to any other colleges. This was the only law college in town. So i had no option. And i wanted to pursue law, other law colleges were quite far of a distance so i chose to study in this college. First the marks will be seen and then an interview will be called.

The courses include 5 years' Bachelors of Arts in LLB, BBA, LLB, and BBA, LLB (Hons.), Double Degree integrated courses, and LLM in Intellectual Property Rights, Constitutional Law, International Law Business and Trade Law and Criminal Law. These courses are full-time and on-campus, it can not be done in distance mode.
