- The board that the college is affiliated to. KSLU syllabus is very outdated and the exam correction is very strict and not liberal.
Course Curriculum Overview
To be frank the syllabus is quite outdated. But the college makes a lot of efforts in trying to provide additional knowledge for students. And they make this possible with additional research workshops and seminars.
Internships Opportunities
I was working with internships that I got with my own efforts in tier one firms but through college, I only had one internship opportunity that was with SBI. The college does offer some internship opportunities but they are somewhat limited.
Placement Experience
Placements are so so as it's a new college and it's upcoming. You might have to build your network through internships you do during the course of law schooling. The placement cell is active but very limited opportunities. But I myself have gotten into SBI through the placement cell.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees was close to one lakh without any accommodation. This includes tuition fees and other miscellaneous fees like library fees. The fees was constant throughout the duration of my course. The college also offers financial aid for those in need.
Campus Life
The college law and non law committees are very active in trying to conduct events for students and encouraging active participation. Cultural fests and moot court competitions are the most active competitions.
Admission
I had applied to other colleges like amity, nmims and symbiosis but the admissions process was getting delayed and hence I chose to join here. It was quite peaceful for me as I am a resident of bangalore. The entrance process was just two rounds of interviews however in the later batches, they've made it more stringent by providing an entrance test and interview.
Faculty
The most of the faculty members are absolutely stunning their ability to connect with the students say a lot about their expertise. They are also well read with the subject and are able to facilitate fruitful discussions in class.
