Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course in the college is well structured and cover all the legal subjects but the students don't get the opportunity to choose there own subjects because of the less faculty they can choose but they have to self study those subjects

Internships Opportunities

5

My college provide us with internship in alot of good place if you talk to principal or teachers they will try to find good places like RERA and other special courts as well so over all it was great..

Fees and Financial Aid

When I joined in the year 2018 the fees for 1 year was 36000 but later there were few other fees like exam fees and other fees for farewell and moot court. The fees remained same for me over the years but now they have increased the fees for the freshers and the students from other states have different fees structure

Campus Life

5

I am happy with the campus life along with studies they were moot court competitions and national moot courts were conducted and alot of other sports were also conducted and other event like indoor competition

Admission

As my family is middle class the reason to choose this college was because it was very affordable comparing to other big colleges and I stay near by so I was familiar with the college and it was also nearby to my place

Faculty

5

Overall teachers are very good teaches well and knowledgeable the complete the syllabus within time and helpful during the assignments and seminars. College also conducts elections and viva which is quite good

Night Life

3

Our college is not a good place to hangout at night has with the campus there is nothing at all apart from canteen which closes at 5 and outside the campus there is just main road and graveyard on the both sides of the college

Placement Experience:

The placements of Christ University Bangalore, are pretty decent. Students are eligible to get placements for the 9th semester, and there are a lot of companies that come for campus placements like Shardul Amrchnad Mangaldas and Cyril Amrchand Mangaldas, Khaitan, Puviyah and co., Trilegal and etc. The highest placement that went last year was 23 lakh, and the average placement is 6-7 lakhs. My plan is to do litigation after getting a degree.

It's the law firms like Wadia Gandhy, Dsk Legal, Trilegal and others. Some merchant bankers too are now a part of our placements thing and this is where it is getting interested as we are getting to explore new opportunities. Pay as of now is around 4-5 LPA but I hope it increases to atleast 10 by 2030.

Placements are okay not so good because of the field as Law doesn't have much placements because it is only given in corporate sector and other things people only have to get employment like for Self employment.

The university has a placement cell which is helpful. They help us get internships in which place we want (only if we are eligible). The placements are nice which are reported by the seniors. We got to know that most of the seniors had a starting package of 7L per annum.

Mostly it's the law firms like Indus Law, Globus, PICT and others. The payment scale therefore is less when it is compared with NLSIU or other NLUs. Some private companies like the UB Group and ITC amoung other others are also coming to hire students who have chosen corporate law as their main electives.
