Remarks

It is an affordable college to study law. You should definitely come here. It is an up and coming area and it is worth studying at this college. Plus the placements and the practice that Al Ameen gives is unmatched.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum can turn hectic. There are lots of notes and information to keep up with. It requires a lot of focus and attention. This is fine if you can regularly keep up with your work. Exams are split into internals and theory exams.

Placement Experience

3.5

Yes, there are placements and job opportunities after the graduation. This is dependent on the training and the opportunities for internships that you take. You can find those here to work under a judge or other lawyers.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees are very affordable. They are 55,000 rupees per year for three years. This is a really good amount for law school because most college's fees range in the lakhs. Hence, this is a great reason to elect this college.

Campus Life

The extracurricular activities include moot court competitions, parliamentary competitions, plus a lot of cultural activities like singing or dance. There are also parties for fresher's and sports teams.

Admission

Well, all the applicants must pass some sort of graduate degree with an average of at least 45% marks. Then the selection into the course is based on their scores on an examination passed by the institution.

Faculty

4

The faculty at this college is also really wonderful. They are really hard workers and they go above and beyond for the students. They are not too strict and they are well-qualified to teach us, and they actually help us develop experience.

Placement Experience:

Last year due to recession the placements were low comparatively. From semester 7 onwards we are eligible for campus placements. I do not exactly have the correct statistics, but all the students who tried outside got the jobs easily. Highest package 32 lacks and least goes upto 3 lacks per annum. Last yearpercentage of students placed is 66 and before that it was more than 90 My plan is to get a good job, after the degree and if I cannot get a good job then I will go for higher studies abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is not at all relevant, they are still teaching us subjects like c and electronics. For eg - in our 4th semester we have vb.net as our programming language which is very outdated langauge. There were also two language subjects - general English and additional language (hindi,English, kannada) which I think is kind of useless to learn two language in BCA.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements by the start of the 7th semester, and the internships by the 5th semester. Since Mangalore has many MNCs, most of the campus drives start with those companies. We have an average package of 18LPA and it varies according to each branch of engineering. Mostly all the computer science-related branches have 23LPA as their average and the core branches have 14LPA. Almost 95 per cent of the students get placed. The highest package has even crossed 50LPA.
