Course Curriculum Overview

1

The course curriculum is not at all relevant, they are still teaching us subjects like c and electronics. For eg - in our 4th semester we have vb.net as our programming language which is very outdated langauge. There were also two language subjects - general English and additional language (hindi,English, kannada) which I think is kind of useless to learn two language in BCA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of kristu jayanti college is somewhat in between, I am paying 80k per year for bachelor of computer application course and college also charges 2800 rs examination fees every semester.there are several scholarships available on merit and reservation basis.

Campus Life

2

The crowd here is mostly from Kerala and humble and helpful.there is not ragging done by colleges as anti ragging comittee is strict.colleges also organises various sports events , intracollege, intercollegiate fest.

Admission

My first priority was christ University, there was a entrance test for admission in BCA course along with a interview and micro presentation, my micro presentation didn't go well so I faced rejection from Christ University that's why apply here in kristu jayanti college ,here there were no entrance test but there was a interview which was so easy because they only asked my name and percentage. The admission process is so easy and dumb and this college gives admission everyone who applies.

Faculty

2

The faculty in the kristu jayanti college is somewhat in between, there are some teacher who are helpful and humble but most of them are arrogant and will make your life a hell. The exams are divided in to three :- mid term exams and end semester exams and practicals exams. There are several other subjects like value based subjects, skill enhancement subjects that students have to clear In every semester.students also have to take open elective subject part from core subjects.

Night Life

2

There are total 3 food courts in our college with good food options for both veg and non veg, there is also a gym in our that charges 550 rs per month. There are total 3 Library in college in each building.college does not have its own hostel but has ties up from different hostels. Nightlife around college is pretty chill as there are various resturant and cafes around here

Course Curriculum Overview:

Speaking about course curriculum that had a different story like I wanted to become a doctor and I belong to a biology background in my puc but I had some health issues that's the reason I couldn't attend my NEET exam also I couldn't waste one complete year so that's the reason I chose BCA. But once I joined I realised tat it was that difficult and it actually became my interest. Curriculum provides a set of courses where students can first understand about each course and then look into the courses and select any of those depending on their interest. So I feel that's required and that's very important for every student. I would suggest to give a demo to students which means to tell them wat all a particular course has, what all students can take, and to tell them which career opportunities which course provides. We had 60 marks paper with 2.3 hours of time it wasn't that difficult only if uh are prepared. Again it all depends on the preparation and hard work of the students. The question paper is made considered the average students as well. So it wasn't that difficult until you get familiar with the subjects.
