Presidency College was established in 2000 by the Presidency Group of Institutions as an autonomous college and it is affiliated with Bangalore University. Presidency College is ranked 1 in India for BBA by GHRDC.

The college offers UG and PG programs. MBA and MCA are considered as flagship courses. In Presidency College Bangalore, student get admission through KMAT or Karnataka PGCET, the final selection of the student is decided on the basis of Group Discussion and Personal Interview conducted via online mode. Total fee for BBA (Marketing) and BBA (Finance) costs INR 4 Lakhs, while the fee for PG programs including MBA and MCA costs INR 5,00,000 and INR 3,50,000 respectively. In the 2023 placements, the highest and lowest salary offered at Presidency College was INR 12,00,000 and INR 3,00,000 respectively where an average salary stood at INR 4,00,000. Canteen facility is fantastic in the college having all varieties of food we need and a small open space. The freedom to walk out of college after a period if you aren't feeling good is also a plus point but have to be careful of attendance

The 2nd language options is actually unnecessary,

Students view on course curriculum

The curriculum is upto the mark but they have to let go some of the stuffs like maths and all are no use in BBA I still don't understand keeping it a curriculum for this course. The curriculum has mostly everything we want.

Fees structure of the course per year

1st I had paid like 25k to confirm my seat that was even before I wrote board exams, and after that I had to pay 10k has I was out of the local area student. Our 1st year fee is like 1,30,000 excluding that 10k extra. So in total I had to pay 1,40,000. For 2nd & 3rd year we have to pay 1,30,000 each. Hostel fee is like 1,60,000 per year which I didn't opt. I didn't get or try for any scholarships there many available but not for me by any chance

Various events being organized in the college

The college is good at hoisting programs. Many programs are planned during a semester. Every fest has a dj, a fashion walk etc... There will be many issues with local students better try avoiding those.

Students view on faculties

Faculty have their own good staffs and also some who aren't, Some teacher take it to their ego for some small incidents. There are many teachers who make us enjoy classes but there is always some who make us hate the subject.

Admission process and eligibility criteria

I actually joined this college because I got the admission confirmation early than any other colleges and this college was highly recommend by my relatives, just an opinion choose college after taking in all the options. I got better option afterwards but I didn't opt those because I had already paid the seat booking charges. If u get a better college don't hesitate. You will regret later if you didnt

Accommodation facility nearby campus premises

Stay in a pg near college with permission to late entry if u get the gate key that much better. These are the way u can get out for a nyt life, then you have a option to go for a long drive to nandhi hills, airport road etc.... Then you have church street in like 10-12km distance which isn't that far and has great vibes There is BEL road has well with amazing night life

I apllied in SJCC and CHRIST bit i could not passthe enterance test. I chose this college as it was my last option but it also had the exact course i wanted also the placements are good . The admission process here is to visot the college talk to the councellor they provide a form and they ask for your marks card.

I personally liked the amount of seminars which were held by the department which gives students the exposure.

Dislikes

There are no or zero event which happened in the last year. Which eventually made me loose interest in the college.

Admission:

Truly speaking I did my research and applied to this college as thier were amazing psychology and journalism faculty in the department but they eventually left after the 1st semester. I have just applied at Presidency and I got the seat. So, you can apply on the college portal for a interview round if you clear the criteria of 75% and above. Less than that you have to apply from management quota. A basic round of interview will take place regarding a background & document verification during the interview. They will ask you why did you choose this course and what made you choose this college. Very basic questions will be asked.

Likes

Girls and boys ratio is also preety decent around 1:2
The college has more co-curricular activities which is a very good point and also the college is focused on student development programs for better skillset and good placement for students
The college offers wide range of activities like sports, dsa classes and also hosts various fests at national level for more exposure and knowledge to students

Dislikes

The college should organise more fests and have better placements
The college has a small campus but is still improving to increase the campus
The college has no transport facilities for ug students

Admission:

I chose Presidency College over at the colleges because it has NAAC ranking plus it is an A+ accredited Collage and has an autonomous syllabus and also focuses on more extra curriculum, activities and other activities which helps the students to improvise on their skills and also help them to Gain exposure through various events/programmes conducted by the college. Also, the syllabus of the college is washed and covers all the essentials. it does not over pressurise the students with the course, but instead help them to focus and complete the assignments and study for the exams with their interests
