Presidency College Bangalore, Bangalore Comparison

Truly speaking I did my research and applied to this college as thier were amazing psychology and journalism faculty in the department but they eventually left after the 1st semester. I have just applied at Presidency and I got the seat. So, you can apply on the college portal for a interview round if you clear the criteria of 75% and above. Less than that you have to apply from management quota. A basic round of interview will take place regarding a background & document verification during the interview. They will ask you why did you choose this course and what made you choose this college. Very basic questions will be asked.

The fees varies according to if you are eligibility of your scholarship. The entire fee ranges during my session was 2 Lakhs (90k first year and 55k respectively) but because I was eligible for the scholarship I paid 1.8 Lakhs (70k first year and 55k respectively). The eligibility for scholarship is - defence ward, sports quota or meritorious students. Every year the fees increases by 10k. They avail scholarship for SC/ST students but it's a rigorous process to follow.

I joined the batch knowing the fact that it is under Bangalore University but when we attended the first day of our batch. It was declared that we were autonomous batch. We remained the lab rats to experiment. I felt there were too many unnecessary subject which were introduced as extra paper and what you study in college is very different from what is required in the job market. The exams were held on regular basis. First they should focus on getting a stable faculties. The curriculum and guest lecture should be based on real demands of the job rather than just getting too many guest lecturers.

Students are eligible for campus placements from 5th semester . Usually Bigfore companies visit amd students are then chosen . The highest package was 18,00,000 [18 LPA] . The percentage of studemts getting placed are 80 percent.

As I have never applied for any colleges in my past as I wanted to always join presidency for their valuable studies and knowledges as I choose this college as best to for taking my decision to the course I needed now

The year wise fees I paid is 130000 as I was new to this clg and all the other fees like tution fees and everything are just within the same amount my batchmates who have been studying there their fees is also similar but a bit lower than this fee around 110000

A highly curriculum integrates theoritical knowledge with practical applications, preparing students for real world challenges. Flexibility to accomodate in the todays' world influenced me to choose this course.

From 3rd semester we will get opportunity for placement there are lot of companies which come for finance and marketing as of now we have got KPMG concentrix many more students should get 60% placement sir is good my plan is to get in to job

Degree percentage must be above 60% and 10th must be above 50%. You can go to college and ask for application form or the form is also available online, there is no fees for application form. Reservation benefits are available at college Difficulty level of exam is high and timing is standard of 3h and mid term 1h. Admission process is perfect and there are no areas for improvement .

Fees in this college is average and there are no hikes in rate. The complete cost of education can go around 612000 including the exam fees other then that there are no extra charges. College gives opportunities for scholarships and financial aids.
