26 Jun, 2025 India Today Ranking 2025 for the Law Category has been released. SLS Pune has been ranked 6 out of 76 colleges in India. 

23 Jun, 2025 SLS Pune UG Fee Structure 2025-26 has been released. The academic fee is ₹ 34,000 -₹ 24.1 Lakhs.

SLS Pune has released the Fee Structure 2025-26 for various PG programs. The academic fee is ₹ 2.6 Lakhs.

SLS Pune has also released the Fee structure for AY 2025-26 for Doctorate programs. The Academic Fee is ₹ 1.2 Lakhs/Yr.

SLS Pune offers undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programs, such as BBALLB {Hons.}, LLB, LLM, BA LLB {Hons.}, Diploma in International Business Laws And Corporate Laws In India, PhD (Law).

BBA LLB {Hons.} program is the most popular course at SLS Pune. The intake capacity for the BBA LLB program is 180 seats. For admission to the BBA LLB (Hons.) program candidates must have passed their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) from any recognised board and need to appear for SLAT (Symbiosis Law Admission Test). Generally the application form for SLAT commenced in August to November with the application fee of INR 2,250 and additionally, the separate program registration fee is INR 1,000. SLS Pune Campus

SLS Pune has a campus around 5 acres and is located in Viman Nagar, a clean and peaceful area of Pune. The campus is modern and well-designed, offers several facilities, such as smart classrooms, a big library, a moot court hall, Wi-Fi and many more. It also offers hostels for boys and girls, a canteen with good food, and a medical center for any health needs.

According to student reviews, the campus is small with just one building, three floors, and around 30 classrooms. But the moot court hall is big, and there are two spacious cafeterias.

Academic structure and curriculum in the campus

Course is quite relevant to the industry standards and numerous learning opportunities are provided for better grasp of concepts through assignments and the exams are quite thorough in nature, students really need to prepare a lot for the final exams

Various companies recruiting from the campus and average package being offered

From 4th Year of the college the student is eligible for a pre-placement offer, main placements happen in the Final year i,e. 5th year. Companies that hire majorly are Tier-1 and Tier-2 law firms, like AZB, Khaitan&Co. Average package goes to about 15-16LPA. My plan is not fixed yet, but I aim to pursue SEBI or RBI law officer exam.

Yearly fees of the course and scholarship

Fee structure is some where around 2,50,000 per year without hostel. Scholarships are provided to the top students having batch rank. The complete cost of education would be 30L. There is 10% hike in fees every year.

Various events and infrastructure of the campus

An annual fest called SYMBHAV is organised by students every year. A lot of intellectual as well as physical sports are offered to participate in. Classrooms are enabled with smart boards and overall campus infrastructure is excellent in terms of the availability of academic resources and seniors are quite approachable. Mostly students run all the clubs and committees here.

What are facilities available in the college hostel?

Hostel facilities are quite good. A triple sharing room is available for boys, we are provided with breakfast, lunch, snacks in evening and dinner. Moreover, the quality of food is very decent in terms of taste and hygiene is maintained too.

Faculty and learning experience in the campus

Faculties are quite experienced and have a good grasp of technical know how of the subject that they teach. Encourages debates and discussions in class on topics dealt with during the course. Quite approachable to students queries.

Admission process of the college and eligibility criteria

Eligibility of the course is to be- 12th Pass. Exam form and other details can be found at official symlaw website. The procedure to crack the exam is, firstly give SLAT the exam is of 60 marks, cut-off varies every year. If the required cut-off is cleared then the candidate has to give a WAT (Written Assessment Test) and also a PI (Personal Interview) which is conducted by the college itself. If the candidate passes all the process he/she would get an admission offer. Weightage of SLAT- 60%, PI- 50% and WAT- 10% The process is quite smooth, the questions asked are a lot related to current affairs

SLS Pune gives the best experience!!

Admission:

I always wanted SLS Pune and therefore I rejected NLUs like NLU Jodhpur and GNLU Gandhinagar. I was getting admission at both these places but i chose not to as SLS Pune is way ahead of them. SNAP is what helps you get admission here and some management quota seats too are there.

SLS Pune is run systematically!!

Admission:

I applied for NLUs but obviously I needed the top ones. Since, I couldn't get those, i switched my priorities to best private institutions. Christ and Symbiosis and also the ICFAI were among those. I can consider myself lucky as in private universities I got the best college in SLS Pune, which I got after clearing SNAP Test.

I got admission in many NLUs as my CLAT AIR was 458 and I could have got NLU Jodhpur or GNLU. However, my first choice was NLSIU and next was Symbiosis for which one has to give SNAP ( Symbiosis National Aptitude Test). I was 41st ranked studnet in SNAP and therefore I took admission here.

SLS Pune is more than Superb!!

Admission:

Symbiosis has their entrance program for most of UG colleges and likewise our college had an entrance. Nearly 240 is intake every year here and so imagine out of almost 100k students that gives the entrance to get admission here only a few end up getting admission here as that is the only way to get admission here.

I choose symbiosis law school Pune because of how competitive it is to get in this college for my course and also it is ranked as a number four in NIRF ranking and also due to what I've heard about the faculty members and its placements. I also had people who are in the college and they suggested me that their placement rates are very high, which it indeed is.

Honest Review for SLAT aspirants

Admission:

SLSP was ranked as NIRF 3 in law schools in 2022, the thing which made me take admission here. Now it's Ranked 5(2024). I had also been admitted to NLU Aurangabad, but that college was new and wasn't even there in the top 10 NLUs. So my obvious choice was SLSP. Our college gives the best exposure which no other college can along with, placements from top law firms like AZB, Trilegal, Khaitan and Co., etc. My CLAT score was not that good so I could only manage to get admission in NLU-A. Talking about the admission process of my college, SLS has its admission exam called SLAT; firstly there was a common MCQ test conducted online in given centers all over India. After getting shortlisted here, one written test was taken where we had to write an essay on a given Current global issue. Thirdly, and the deciding factor was the Personal Interview, the professors from our college take this interview and grill us, they can ask about anything, be it legal or general knowleadge.

My College Experience: Symbiosis Law School, Pune

Admission:

Eligibility for the 3 year course is a previoous graduation degree in any field. Application form is released on the official website every year in the month of March-April. Applicatin form fee - 1000 rs I did not avail any reservation benefits. The entrance exam AIAT is 1 hour 45 minutes long, conducted online, and it is not very difficult. you just have to be aware of the current legal developments. There is also a personal interview conducted online after you pass the written exam. The admission process is pretty reasonable.

Yes, SLS Pune does have uniforms for its students. This helps in maintaining uniformity and building discipline among the students of SLS. Upon taking admission at SLS Pune, you will have to wear the designated uniform.

The uniform prescribes a full sleeve shirt in white color with black blazer and black trousers, for both girls and boys. The dress code is strictly black and white. One can also wear a decent Kurta/ T-shirt/ Top in white color, with black trousers or jeans. One can wear casual clothes on Wednesday, but they must be ethnic and mostly Khadi clothes.

The Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) for the 2025 academic year was conducted on December 13 and December 15, 2024. As of now, there is no official information regarding the SLAT exam dates for the 2026 academic year.

SLS Pune Admission to BA LLB (Hons) / BBA LLB (Hons) is based on merit in the SLAT conducted by the institute itself. Candidates can apply for SLAT through the steps mentioned below: 

  • Candidates must appear for the SLAT for admission at SLS Pune. 
  • Candidate must complete the registration of SLS Pune and should pay registration fee viz, INR 2250
  • Applicants must complete the SLS Pune registration of INR 1000 for each program.
  • SLAT and SLS, Pune payments can be made using credit card/Debit card/ Net card/ Banking/RTGS/ NEFT/ Online Banking provided on the SLAT Registration Form.
