First and foremost the Infosys and the IT companies of Pune and then it were the auto companies and finally it happened that law firms too started coming and our college is now the second highest law college package providers in country just behind NLSIU.

Khaitan is the top one as they are in 6 cities of India now and they are increasing the workforce every year. It's SLS Pune which is adding to their maximum work force. Average salary offered is 60-90k a year and for a lawyer initially having that kind of salary is a dream.

All the biggest national and some international law firms too come to hire at SLS Pune. Tatva Legal, Trilegal and likewise all A tier firms and top corporate houses as every one has a splendid legal team of theirs and SLS students are splendid.

At SLS Pune, placements are amazing as top auto companies which have their base in Pune are the first ones to hire us. From Bajaj Auto to Tata Motors and now even the IT companies like Infosys and Happiest Minds are also in the race. However first choice of any law students is getting jobs in litigation firms and there are firms like Trilegal, Tatva Legal and AZB and others are among the top firms that have tie ups with our college for placements and internships.

Placement system is nice as many banks and tier-1 firms and companies do approach the college during the placement process. However those people who are not able to secure the placement can apply on linkdin

The placement rate of my college is very high and even before the completion of our course which was which is an integrated course of five years. It is compulsory for us to start doing internships from second year onwards to build our CV and they also help us getting linked to various sorts of companies which can provide us with internships so it is in fact very helpful.

The course curriculum ensures the conceptual as well as practical clarity of law. SLSP offers Bachelor of Arts/ Bachelor of Business Administration+ Bachelor of Law (HONS.). Unlike other colleges, SLS introduces law subjects from the first year itself, along with BA or BBA subjects, which makes it easier to learn efficiently. We are also supposed to start interning in our 2nd year, which prepares us for real-world applications and introduces us to the work culture. The course curriculum is good but during the internship breaks our college provides us with online classes and recorded lectures which gets very difficult to attend along with work and college assignments, I think this thing can be changed so that students don't miss out on anything important. The timings and frequency of the exams are perfect, that is, twice a year.

placements are very nice with students being recruited at very high packages. companies like TRILEGAL, AZB PARTNERS, ARGUS PARTNERS, CAM, SAM and international companies too have come to our campus. with that, banks, in house companiesand certain other join to help our students get recruited. highest package has varied from 18 to 20 lakhs.

Students of the 3 year course become eligible for campus placements after the 4th semester. Firms like Khaitan and Co., Trilegal, AZB visit the college for placements. Highest packages have gone up to 12 lakhs per annum with average package being 8 lakhs per annum. Around 60% of students get placed. I plan to sit for collelge placements as I want to get into coporate law.

The diverse range of subjects covered by SLS is pretty helpful the course provides various options with regards to electives and the students get an opportunity to learn the subjects they have an interest in.
