JSSATEB Experince from Students perspective

The couse curriculum is 5 to 8 years outdated. Not relavent at all for the current market demand. I would not recomend you for a B E course as it is more theory based and less practical. Choose B Tech course which is more practical and gives you more exposure.

Placments are average, company comes, but they do not hire more people, the interview process is very difficult even for companies offering a package of 4.5LPA, not many companies come, even if they come competiiton is very high, so please upskill yourselves, and learn all that is required for placements even if it is difficult or getting a job is very tuff unless you have influence to get into comapnies through relatives or your parent's friends.

The college life is very good, enjoyed well, the crowd and people are decent , they dont have any bad habits like drugs n all in this college. The clubs in my departments are very good conducting events regularly. The college Fest VERVE is also extremely good , conducted once a year, it is an amazing exprience

I choose this college as I was alloted this based on my KCET Rank, i had no option due to financial conditions and could not afford other colleges through management seat. I did not wait till the completion of third round in KCET, i joined in the first round itself which i regret. I got a rank of 13K and i would have got better college if i had waited till the 3rd round.

The teachers are very good and knowledgeable, they teach well, come to class regularly, not that strict when in comes to attendance. Related to exams, there will be 2 Continous internal evaluations (internals) and one Sem end exam (externals) . They give you good marks if you write well no need to worry, marks is not a problem

No there wasnt any group discussion or written test for the admission, if your taking management seat they will just ask you to pay the money and donation if any, if your going in thorugh KCET or COMEDK, you have to show the documents, get it approved and pay the fees. .

The girls hostel is located inside the campus, boys hostel is outside the college campus, oppsite to it, not much of a lifetime, if you come later than 10:00 PM you wont be allowed inside the hostel, it is for the safety of the students, not alcohol or drugs are allowed, proper checking is done before you enter, food is above average, can survive, sundays there will be no hostel food for lunch or dinner, you have to eat outside.
