Course Curriculum Overview

Need to improve in give real experience amd need better explanation for concepts.more different style of exams and assignment marks.like if you bucket lecture easy to get marks on assignment .need to pay extra fee for exam booklet

As my senior told compared to previous years more and more companies are coming and many collaboration and startups companies are more.my others friends told their college placement is not going well but in our college campuses are coming monthly from other countries also .last month one japanese core company came

Total fees is one lakh ten thousand rupees .and starting time they take twenty thousand for college fees and year wise it is increasing by ten thousand as my senior told.. and provide scholarship for some students

Campus Life

Eacg department have their own culture and events and sports and inter College sports and good events are arranged.but not time for attending them as having a heavy schedule for classes . students are having clubs have full support

Hostel Facilities

Hostel have one sharing and three sharing options.for 3 share have common and general bathroom and for single share attached bathroom .no ragging by any one full strict on that case.from morning 5 to night 10 hostel is open

Admission

Yes i got first global college and then sir m vishweshwar college and then this i got as i heard it has more reputation and good placement offers.when i see it has more freedom than other colleges and comparatively good placement

Faculty

Have more faculty but inexperienced arrogant lectures..have two to three internal examination and labs and ppt presentation, assignment within 4 and half month.heavy schedule.no spoon feeding work for your betterment.give notes and material through online

Night Life

No gym in college but have in hostel and no proper maintainance. Hostel have all main indoor sports senior encourage in extra activities and friendly . campus is open upto night 9 pm and can utilise library

LIFE AT NITK

Placement Experience:

Placements at NITK Surathkal are very good overall, and the EEE department consistently sees a high percentage of students getting placed-85% to 90%+ However the placement profiles and salaries vary a lot depending on whether you go core electrical jobs , software/IT jobs we students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester companies start arriving fro pre placement talks and tests ,some students also get PPOs done in the 3rd year summer internshis companies visiting nitk for eee students are: TEXAS INSTRUMENTS SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC SIEMENS ABB L&T TATA POWER BOSCH. My personal plans after getting degree is either get placed in a good company then later prepare for civils services examination.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The VTU syllabus was bit difficult to crack, but the course we good , it was a fun studing the syllabus, but the syllabus was not related to the placement, we struggle a lot to get placed in the final year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since my kcet rank was low I want a good clg so I choose this college I choose electrical and electronics. also I'm very interested in electrical department I wanted eee branch so I choose this Curriculum actually helps you to learn and solve real world problems since it's a core branch you have to concentrate on our syllabus. We get to learn lot of things also we have 4 labs there you can learn practically . In our clg they additionally we have lab Called skill lab there you can learn lot of things additionally . I feel they should add some programming language as subject in eee additionally even though we learn that in 1st year there should be continuous so . Even our colleges provide boot camps for 10 days every sem where experienced trainer will come and teach you but I feel that's not enough they have include programming languages as our part of curriculum. In internals they provide 1hour time for for 30 marks and sem exams 3hr for 100 marks so it's manageable .

I applied to many college like sjbit,global ,jnnce,pes,rv,bms and many more They above were all need a higher grade than what I had scored. Jss was near to my home and i had a direct bus root for the college and it has a big campus and a lot of good grades form the students to back it up I couldn't get into bms ,pes or rv because my grades weren't good enough.
