Course Curriculum Overview
In the first semester every branch student should study the same subjects to attempt the semester exams but the electrical branches and information technology branch should study c language but others should study python
Placement Experience
I guess there are very good placements at nit suratkal. Many multinational companies will also visit our campus for selections.for the placements many companies will see that one should have minimum of 7 to 7.5 cgpa
Fees and Financial Aid
Hello, i am a first year student from nit suratkal.i choosed IT branch in suratkal as it is 2nd top nit and as it has its own reputation. So when we talk about the fee structure the tution fee per semester is 62500. And only for 1st semister there are so many other kinds of fee such as security deposit 6710,convocation fee 3310, institute admission fee 1340,career development fee 2210, health care facility fee of 1670,computing resource fee of 3350,over all total fee for a dayscolar is 99070 per semester. And the hostel fee per semester is 8820 per semester so total fee for a hostler is 107890per semester.
Campus Life
One will have wide range of opportunities to participate in sports also yoga. There is also a gym available here where it is free of cost. There is a student potal called iris which will be runned by seniors is available here
Hostel Facilities
There can be 2 sharing and 3 sharing rooms for the 1st year as well as 2nd year students. But from 3rd year the hostels will be changed to megatowers where you can choose even 1 sharing rooms. Washing machines also available from 3rd year
Admission
As this is the 2 top nit in our nation. And I choosed because it will provide more opportunities and more exposure will be there.also the other reason is about placements and internships.and also this college have its own private beach
Faculty
Faculty is also good as of now.there will be quiz exams and assignments apart from the mid semester exams and end semester exams.ther will be 2 quizes one will be before mid semester and the other will be after mid semester
Night Life
For the first year students hostels will be closed at 7 o clock at the very beginning but as time goes on they will automatically increase the time. There are also night canteens available over here.
