- I like the teachers like dr.sheena she is one of the best teacher here .
- Placements and internship opportunities are good. research support is also very strong. bangalore is nearby hence a lot of companies visit for campus placements

- There was a lack of transparency while choosing college hostel.

- My college location is very good ,it has its own beach where you can visit whenever you want.
- Here placement is also very good.Here average package is 17 lakh.you will for sure will be placed if you work hard

- Food taste is not that good in taste even my professors agrees with that but its fresh for sure.
- It is very far away from my hometown .If i go by train it almost takes 3 days and if you take flight it will cost you a lot.
Placement Experience:
From 5th semester students are eligible for campus internships. Many companies visit here every here and offer jobs such as google.amazon,meta,realiance,ola.almost every student in my college get placed. highest package was offered by google that was for 54 lakh. and average packacge here is 17 lakh. almost 95% students get placed. I am clear about my passion right now but there is more chance i will go for tech jobs
Course Curriculum Overview:
This course is best way to go in field of computer and development if you don't have bachlor in computer.and we have lab to learn real world work and subjects that going to help you to working in software development.odd sem will be little easy but even sem get too busy for students because in even we have more subjects as compared to odd sem.
Placement Experience:
Yes. Campus placements happen in our college.The number of students who are placed in campus is high. Students are eligible for placements from 7th semester but the internships start much earlier to that. Last year 190 companies visited NITK for campus placements with leading companies in the world like Microsoft, Amazon ,oracle, Uber, samsung Adobe etc. 87% of the students got in campus placements lst year. For civil department 54.75 lakhs per annum was the highest package and 18 lakhs was the average package. There were students who got 1cr plus package also those students were form CSE and IT Department.

- Like the campus is of 300 acres, with playground and a personal beach of its own.
- Then the professors who are well learned.

- The food in every mess is below average, especially at nights.
- We need to share a small room with 3 students in first year then with 2 in second year
Course Curriculum Overview:
Like the curriculum to be honest is the same from the best 25 years, so much of the subjects which you study won't help you at all, only few like cad, thermodynamics would be useful and rest skills you will have to study on your own and exams are easy like you can score above 8 cgpa just by studying 1 week before the exams.

- The private beach belong to this college is like wow.

- The weather in this area is what I hate mostly.
- Friends are good but sometimes because of language barriers you will get neglected and miss some opportunities.
Placement Experience:
Placement season is going on, and it's pretty good here. But I am preparing for higher studies in mtech in mechanical engineering. So I am little away from this. More than 170 companies visited till now, and still 6 months there. According to last year data 93 % students get placed.

- There will be events for every week and it is very good
- There is a beach in our college which is nice to explore

- Infrastructure is not soo good as it is a old college
- The faculty staff are so strict and some are good

For 6th semester or 7 th semester we'll be eligible for campus placements Our college provide very good placement as it is the top 2 NIT and Top engineering college in Karnataka The highest package was 55LPA and Average package was 18LPA

- Good infrastructure and maintenance, the hostels are kept well and the mess is also clean and hygenic
- There is newly made sports complex, swimming pool and many other clubs(both technical and non technical) for students to improve their skills and learn something new
Dislikes
- The evaluation is continuous, which makes the student hard to focus on extra curricular activities.
- In semesters, the college is working even on saturdays, to avoid the stay here when there is water scarcity. Accelerating the semester makes it hard to catch up
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placements by the start of the 7th semester, and the internships by the 5th semester. Since Mangalore has many MNCs, most of the campus drives start with those companies. We have an average package of 18LPA and it varies according to each branch of engineering. Mostly all the computer science-related branches have 23LPA as their average and the core branches have 14LPA. Almost 95 per cent of the students get placed. The highest package has even crossed 50LPA.

- The ratio of the boys to girls like 4:1 and out of 8800 students nearly about 1600 girls are there...
Dislikes
- The syllabus is not tough but lengthy, the classes and works aur too hectic here you will able to get enough to explore new things, see new domains work on your interests...
- Very small semesters are there nearly about 4 months odd sem and 25 days vacation after it in even sem it is even shorter than the odd one just of 3-3.5 months and rest are holidays nearly about 3.5 months vacation.. Such irregularity in conduction
Placement Experience:
From 4 year placement is available for 6sem end and 7sem starting... Civil core related placements are mostly towards govt. services oriented and less towards private sector...but for the other branches circital and others the placement is running low right now because of the heavy recession is going right now... You are able to get the degree but even after getting nice knowledge and being skilled you are not able to placed due to circumstances...
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is up to date and we get all the resources to study.. library has all the books available and we can issue it with the help of our library card. There are 4 exams plus assignment in each course every sem. This includes two quiz, 1 midsem and 1 endsem

- I liked the exposure here as it is one of the best colleges of our country, great brains, great ideas
- I also liked the greenery here as there are trees everywhere well maintained.
Dislikes
- Disliked the discrimination here for northies although its very less.
- Disliked the management in some instances
Placement Experience:
From semester 5, the students are eligible for internships, interviews for which are being taken in the campus only. If a student wants, he can apply for off campus internships too before semester 5 but he must be aware of the 75% attendance policy strictness here. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Qualcomm, Infosys, etc come for placement and roughly 6-7 cgpa is the minimum criteria for sitting in placement interviews. Students from core branches can give interviews for tech companies too. Highest package is roughly ?55 lakhs and average is nearly ?18 lakhs in on-campus placements. And roughly 88% students get placed every year. I don't have much plans after getting the degree, either job or any business.

NIT Surathkal is one of the premium engineering colleges in India. It has an amazing faculty pool with top-notch infrastructure. Many big companies visit the campus for placements. The campus is huge with all basic amenities like hostels, health care centers, sports facilities, etc. Students are provided with 24/7 internet facility and also basic facilities like water and electricity.
The campus life is very dynamic with many technical and cultural events taking place on campus. Your peers are mainly people who couldn't make it to IITs but are very talented. Moreover, you get to experience the breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea.
NIT Surathkal organizes one of the best Cultural Fest Incidents every year. Additionally, many startups have been founded and co-founded by NITKians which has improved the startup culture to a great extent. Ultimately, college is more about what you learn and experience!
