Eligibility Criteria
Admission to the NITK Surathkal MCA program is open to the following candidates:
- Students who have passed a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant stream with a CGPA of at least 6.5 in the 0-10 scale grading system, OR students with a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate (marks scored in all the subjects of all the public/university examinations) are eligible to apply for the NITK Surathkal MCA programs.
- For SC/ST candidates, there will be a relaxation of 5% of marks.
Course Details
NITK Surathkal MCA admission 2024 via NIMCET is open. NITK Surathkal allows MCA admission based on the NIMCET scores obtained by the students. The NIMCET 2024 registrations have begun and the last date of submission for the online application form is April 20, 2024. The NIMCET 2024 will take place in online mode and is scheduled for June 08, 2024.
NITK Surathkal MCA program is a 3-year PG program structured into 6 semesters. Candidates with at least 60% of marks or 6.5 CGPA in their graduation are eligible to apply for this program. Also, admission is granted to only those students who have valid NIMCET ranks. The NITK Surathkal opening and closing ranks for the general candidates remained at 51 and 105 ranks respectively. NITK Surathkal charges a fee of INR 69,924 for the dayscholar students and for the hostellers, the fee is INR 77,924 in the first year of the MCA course. The total seat intake for the MCA program offered by the institute is 58.

There is no regular increment is done but some amount may increase or decrease. Aproax 515000 is the total fees of my course. In the campus many companies are approaching for the hiring and hire such a good amount of students.

- Water shortage during the april - july month
- Mess food is not good for north indian . you have to eat south indain food

total fee for 3 year is 5 lakh and thirty five thousand only and one more think for self finance student the fee for three year is 21 lakh. their are total 10 seat for self finance in NIT Surathkal. Scholarship is given to SC ans ST students.

The Hostel Fees cost Rs 32000 for a single semester. Students are either given triple, double or single occupying rooms. The Institute Fees on the other hand cost Rs 48000 for a single semester. Scholarships are available for students having reservation.

- Taking about the campus life so we are having a beach in our campus which is also a unique thing in it's own
- We have a lot of sports events in our college which refresh us

- The lecture hall for us are quit old so they should be improved
- All the even semester of our college are of small duration

The total fees of the course is 515000 which consists of 6 semester and the tution fee in each sem is 35000 but if we are a student from OBC,sc or at category than we are provided scholarship by our respective states and the amount varies accordingly the hostel fe in the college is around 8000 and mess fee is 32000

- Water problem is the big issue in the hostel in month of April to July. There has no class in between this months.

- Curriculum is not up to date, it's very old curriculum

Tution fee increase every year about 8-10% Around 6 lakhs for 3 years and 6 semester There are many scholarships available by government college provides scholarship for sc/st students In mca no stipends is provided but there are many hackethons are organised to earn money

- There are lot of snakes and insects in the campus.
- As college is situation near beach,it is so hot to live here.

Tuition fee for a middle class family is quit high.The complete cost of my tuition fee is 200000 per annum.there are a lot of scholarships available in college for students that is upto 80000 with laptop and 40000 without laptop.No ,as I'm first year student I have nothing awarded yet.
