NIT Surathkal Scholarship 2026: Amount, Eligibility, Selection Criteria

NITK Surathkal offers a variety of scholarships and financial aid options primarily based on academic performance and family income. Key scholarships include the Merit Cum Means Scholarship providing Rs. 3,000 monthly for OBC students with a CGPA above 8 and SC/ST students with a CGPA above 7. I am from general categary so i will explain about my fee sturcture first. The fee structure is following which i am paying :- year Institute fees Hostel and mess fee 1 1,81,290 69,100 2 1,64,210 68,100 3 1,66,130 68,100 4 1,68,170 68,100 >For other catageries or any fee benifit: 1)for obc full above mentioned fees. 2)for sc and st institute fees is 0. 3)the student whose family income is less than 1 lac 0 institute fee,between 1-5 lac 2/3rd fee concession is given , and also fee waiver for pwd students .

Tuition fees - 120000 Others expenses (registration fee+ admission fees+ development fees + Lab fees+other charges. If family income is less than 1 lac then tuition fees is excused. If family income is in between 1 lac to 5 lac than 2/3 tuition fees is reduced

NITK - A truthful review

The tuition fees is 62500 in every semester. Development fees - 2690 , Security deposit - 6710 , Convocation fee - 3310, Lib fees - 2690 , Health care - 1660 , Student Activites fee - 6620 , Campus amenities - 1660 and Hostel rent - 8820. All the fees considered together varies for different Semesters . The average fees per sem is 90,000 and a Mess fees of 35000. If Income < 1 lakh , whole tuition fees will be remitted

Student Snaps:

For General and OBC category per year fees will be around 180000. For SC/ST it is around 90000. The fees keeps on increasing every year by roughly 5-10%. In MTech we used to MHRD scholarship of 12,400 per month. For SC/ST student there are other scholarships as well.

Nitk tour and guidelines about college

Fee of nitk is very less in comparison to other college here fee is defined by his categery I am pwd candidate so my fee is one lakh 8 thousand per year but my fried in obc ncl category so his fee is 1lakh 56 thousand something and and one ther friend in general ewc so his fee also same as obc ncl. And some other friend whose father in job or mother in job his fee is more and like 1lakh per sem means about 2 lakh per year and st sc have same as pwd candidate and about scholarship provide there is so many scholarship in college like nsp is government scholarship but in private scholarship is airtel ,sbi , ffe adharkaushal and so many other and this college nitk has ragging free campus and no doubt about season like here every time summer here is no winter season only rainy and summer and about placement of senior my branch is mechanical so in my branch avg is 13 lakh and other beach civil have 12lakh and cs have highest around 40lakh about faculty members all is good and supportive nature no one irritate you but in exam hall they are to strict so you want join this college you think about study and beace I am am second year student here no one professor give you free marks what you had write accordingly you will marked so try to study hard avery day 3 hours then you will mark a good cgpa and last and a out function college have to many festivals like engineering fest ,incident all are enjoyable fest there is so many famous singer came in to college and perform dance songs for you and enjoy everyone. In this nitk there is so many club like robotic club civil club machinery lab carracing club and etc you can join all club get to many prizes and in sports field all games are Available so you can play every game like basketball and football and famus game like cricket hockey and imp thing about games kl Rahul ind cricketer also read in this campus because his father is professor in this college so this college have so many facilities to improve your

Nit surathkal college life

See my course which I joined is around 150000 per year which will be included with hostel facility, and it increases 5% every year which Is somewhat difficult, for general category it is around 3 lakh per year which is very difficult, and none of scholarship is applicable to me

LIFE AT NITK

for the first year i will be paying Rs.130210 including hostel and mess fee and other extra fees as i belong to st category i dont have tution fees for the 2nd year i will be paying Rs.110320 for 3rd year i will be paying Rs.100840 and finally for the 4th final year i will be paying Rs.99430 . It has been mention that the fees might be increased by a 5% every year for my batch mates they have additionally Rs.125000 per year as a tution fee. I didnt get any kind of scholarship till now

Review of a first year student at NIT suratkal

Hello, i am a first year student from nit suratkal.i choosed IT branch in suratkal as it is 2nd top nit and as it has its own reputation. So when we talk about the fee structure the tution fee per semester is 62500. And only for 1st semister there are so many other kinds of fee such as security deposit 6710,convocation fee 3310, institute admission fee 1340,career development fee 2210, health care facility fee of 1670,computing resource fee of 3350,over all total fee for a dayscolar is 99070 per semester. And the hostel fee per semester is 8820 per semester so total fee for a hostler is 107890per semester.

Great campus life with good placement and private beach, a place like heaven for engineering

We have semester wise fee structure. Those having family income less than 1Lakh, they dont need to pay Tution fees. Apart from that we have one time fees like Institute Admission fee, Security Deposity (refundable), NITK Alma Mater Endowment, Convocation fee. We also give Development fees for 1st and 2nd sem only (1st year only). Some of the fees like Career Development fee, Health Care Facility, Students Activities Fees, Campus Amenties, Group Insurance Coverage of Students are to paid only for odd-sems.And apart from than we have mess fee,hostel fee and library resourse fee to paid for every sem.For scholarships students can actually check int the nitk website.

Fatigue behaviour of austempered ductile iron

Since I am pursuing my Mtech degree which is of 2 years in the first year I have paid 180000 and in the second year I have paid 180000.Same fees goes with my batchmate also the admission fees was 10000.Pursuing mtech with qualified gate gives us financial aid of 12400 per month
