NIT Surathkal Scholarship 2025: Amount, Eligibility, Selection Criteria

NITK Surathkal offers a variety of scholarships and financial aid options primarily based on academic performance and family income. Key scholarships include the Merit Cum Means Scholarship providing Rs. 3,000 monthly for OBC students with a CGPA above 8 and SC/ST students with a CGPA above 7. There's also a fee waiver scheme where students with family incomes below Rs. 1 lakh receive a full tuition fee waiver, and those with incomes between Rs. 1-5 lakhs receive a two-thirds waiver.

Great campus life with good placement and private beach, a place like heaven for engineering

Fees and Financial Aid:

We have semester wise fee structure. Those having family income less than 1Lakh, they dont need to pay Tution fees. Apart from that we have one time fees like Institute Admission fee, Security Deposity (refundable), NITK Alma Mater Endowment, Convocation fee. We also give Development fees for 1st and 2nd sem only (1st year only). Some of the fees like Career Development fee, Health Care Facility, Students Activities Fees, Campus Amenties, Group Insurance Coverage of Students are to paid only for odd-sems.And apart from than we have mess fee,hostel fee and library resourse fee to paid for every sem.For scholarships students can actually check int the nitk website.

Fatigue behaviour of austempered ductile iron

Since I am pursuing my Mtech degree which is of 2 years in the first year I have paid 180000 and in the second year I have paid 180000.Same fees goes with my batchmate also the admission fees was 10000.Pursuing mtech with qualified gate gives us financial aid of 12400 per month

nitk- a college you can go for

Student Snaps:

each semester is roughly 30k for hostel + mess[establishment charges 8100, maintenance 3690, mess advance 22000], and 62250 rs for tuition fees (normal) and lesser for SC/ST and other categories. There are few scholarships provided whichs specifics i dont know and are shared in college groups upon joining

If a students family income is less than 1LPA are eligible to get full remission on tution fees, and if it is between 1LPA-5LPA 60% of fee will be removed(they need to pay only 40% of tution fee).

Good college

The annual fee would be around 3 lakhs. And it will slide based on the semester. We can also apply for scholarships if eligible. But I was unfortunate that I'm not eligible for scholarship as I'm a general category candidate

I paid 125000 for year 1 which does not mess hostel fee. Hostel fee is 12000 and lab fee, caution fee and other compulsory fee cost 6000. For ews category if your income is below 5 lakhs you have to pay only 1/3 of the fee and there will be no fee for ews category with income below 1lakh. For sc st there will be fee consestion

Internship offers

The course fees is 65000 approximately and the hostel fees including mess fees is 33000.It is almost the same for alla batches.All other miscellaneous fees including like lab fees,development fees is 2000.
