The curriculum of nitk is so good and you can get so much knowledge from this curriculum. You get real world knowledge and hands on experience from the clubs and lab sessiona they conduct here in the college

Internships Opportunities

The internships are very great and you get to perform internships which have stifund. The projects are also very good which gives you hands on experience on the subject. You can get very interactive sessions during project.

Placement Experience

The placements of nitk are exceptional the average package is around 14 lakhs and the placements percentage is around 90 percentage which is very great. The highest package is around 60 lakhs per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 125000 for year 1 which does not mess hostel fee. Hostel fee is 12000 and lab fee, caution fee and other compulsory fee cost 6000. For ews category if your income is below 5 lakhs you have to pay only 1/3 of the fee and there will be no fee for ews category with income below 1lakh. For sc st there will be fee consestion

Campus Life

The clubs are very good here and the social life is also very great. The clubs are very interactive and you get hands on experience.The events and fests are also very great. You get to participate in the fests and involve yourself inthe volunteer work

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is great and the warden is very approachable.He is available anytime and solves any problem within 1day. The first year hostels are of 3blocks in which you get nonveg in 2 blocks and pure veg in other one. First year students get threesharing accommodation.

Admission

I have applied for srm institute of technology chennai and vit vellore but chose nitk because of the fee structure and placement and internship opportunities, sports facilities and the college faculty

There is a 80 to 1 student faculty ratio and the faculty is very approachable the best faculties are from mechanical engineering and every faculty is very good there will 2 quizzes which are conducted one before the midsem and one after midsem and atlast there will be end sem exams the exams are not so easy the y are average

Night Life

There are two gyms inthe college one is common gym and the other one for only men. There are two libraries in the campus one is central library and the other is e library where you get all the books you need. The night life is also very great but the hostel timings are only upto 7pm inthe first semester ande in the second semester they are upto 9pm.
