Course Curriculum Overview
See I am in btech mechanical engineering 4 years course provided by national institute of technology karnataka NITK which is the one of the best course in the college and it has a world ranking of 120 QS world ranking, but the academic is very good, and every paper is based on industrial thinking what the industry required from us.
Placement Experience
Placement in terms of computer science and technology (cs) is very good with highest package of 50 lakhs per annum and avg package of 28Lpa but in other branch the avg package lies between 12-15 lakhs per annum
Fees and Financial Aid
See my course which I joined is around 150000 per year which will be included with hostel facility, and it increases 5% every year which Is somewhat difficult, for general category it is around 3 lakh per year which is very difficult, and none of scholarship is applicable to me
Campus Life
See our college has best infrastructure and research facilities where also alumni from this college have built top companies in india, there are so many fests and technical clubs in which we have largest South Indian technical clubs
Hostel Facilities
For the first year hostel is good but it is a 3 sharing room but the room is very spacious and the mess food is ok but not average and there is lan with 25 gb per day per student with a speed of 700mbps but in 2nd year onwards u get 2 sharing or single sharing occupancy
Admission
This college is the one of the best college in india name under NIT act rule, it has a Nirf ranking of 17 in 2025 which is excellent in terms of education, it has a top research facilities worth of 120 crores in which top iits like bombay and madras also come here for reasearch
Faculty
See the ratio is around 80:1 however every faculty is good and they have a excellent career with each and every one are doctorate teachers but teaching is somewhat good. The academics is very stressful where students run after CGPA and credits for the degree requirements but the question paper are very different and difficult. There are quizzes, mid sem , end sem, assignments etc .
Night Life
Night is not much attractive but beautiful where u can roam for refreshment and this college have its own beach around coastal region which refreshes the future engineer and the college have every type of gym facility and also every sports facilities
