Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is relevant and builds a strong foundation with real-world applications like aircraft design, CFD analysis, and UAV/drone systems. It prepares students for industry and higher studies, though more practical exposure would help. Exams are regular and of moderate difficulty, manageable with consistent study.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are available through college support as well as off-campus applications. Companies like Collins Aerospace offer roles such as engineering intern, project intern, and HR intern for students who are selected or referred through placements. Interns work on real-time projects like design analysis, testing, or basic research tasks, which help in gaining practical industry experience. The stipend usually ranges around ?15,000–?30,000 per month depending on the role and performance.Overall, internships help students improve technical skills, understand industry workflows, and increase chances of full-time placement in the same or similar companies.

From 6th semester students eligible for campus placements, japanese and boeing are visited but from aeronautical engineering japanese gave only one offer but boeing 0 offers from aero.highest package is 66000 per month and average is 25000 70% of the students are getting placed After getting the degree i would like to do job

Campus Life
Campus life is vibrant with a good balance of academics and social activities. The annual fest Anaadantya provides great opportunities for students to showcase their talents. The library has a good collection of standard reference books like Anderson for aerodynamics and other core subject textbooks, along with journals for academic support. Classrooms are equipped with basic digital facilities like projectors. There are various sports and extracurricular activities, along with active student clubs that help in skill development and make campus life engaging and enjoyable.
Admission
Actually through KCET rounda I gave my first choice for dayananda sagar institution,in the first round I got seat in the dayananda sagar in ECE branch, unfortunately my parents didn't like that college because of the rumour about that college so they made me to cancel that college in the second round I choose nitte Meenakshi institute which is near to me and my parents choice, but I didn't get seat both 2 and 3rd round in the last mop up round I directly consultant the college and according to kcet fee they gave me seat in the aeronautical engineering.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is good, allowing proper interaction, and most faculty members are approachable and supportive. Some teachers explain concepts clearly with practical examples, while a few are more theoretical. Exams include internal tests and semester exams with a moderate difficulty level, and students who prepare well can pass easily. Overall, the curriculum is relevant to industry needs, though it can include more practical exposure.
Night Life
Nightlife around the campus is calm but decent for students to relax. The gym, library, and cafeterias usually close by evening, while hostel timings are fixed with entry restrictions at night. Students mostly spend time in hostels, chatting, studying, or hanging out with friends. There are a few local cafes and food spots near the campus where students go in the evenings. The area is generally safe, but it is not very active late at night, so most students prefer staying inside the campus after certain hours.
