What Students Say
Likes
- Strong inclination towards academics and placements.
Dislikes
- Little to no extra curricular activities.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course due to the higher demand in the CS cluster. The curriculum does help a lot in maintaining a schedule and working under the clock. The exams are held once a month and the difficulty level is moderate.
Internships Opportunities
I am not yet into any internship programs as such but am looking forward to head into one. Companies like Google, Microsoft often set up internships here and offer a high payment. The roles are usually learning opportunities and minor roles without much hassle.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible from the 7th semester. The companies that visit are usually some of the top companies and a few fortune 500 ones. The highest package was 92LPA and the average package is 10-15LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fees is not increased much and not an issue considering the amount we pay. The complete cost would amount upto 600000 through KCET and 1200000 through COMED-K. There are internships instituted in the third year, a student can make use of it and earn well and gain some experience too
Campus Life
Fests such as 8th Mile and E-Summit are organised in June and February respectively. The library is immaculate and has a lot of books available. Sports and extra curricular activities are offered but limited-time.
Admission
The admission process was not hectic as such and application forms will be made available later on after exams are done with. The fee details are posted on their website. The entrance exams are quite easy but the volatile rankings make it difficult.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio differs from branch to branch. In my branch it is 72:1. The teachers are highly approachable and helpful. They're quite qualified with multiple PhD holders and healthy teaching experience.
