Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum at RVCE is well-structured and industry-focused since it's autonomous but affiliated with VTU. One of the best parts is the 50% internal marks given for experiential learning, where we work on real industry projects, making studies more practical. Exams are spread throughout the semester, so there’s no last-minute pressure, but they are challenging enough to keep us engaged. The syllabus is regularly updated, and most subjects have hands-on applications. However, adding more interdisciplinary learning could make it even better. Overall, RVCE ensures we graduate with both strong technical knowledge and practical experience. Internships Opportunities

5

Over 70% of students secure internships with leading companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, UiPath, JP Morgan, and Airbus, offering roles in software development, data analysis, and systems engineering. Stipends range from ?25,000 to ?1.4 lakh per month, with top tech firms like Amazon, UiPath, and Microsoft offering up to ?1.4 lakh. These internships involve working on multidisciplinary projects, enhancing practical skills, and often lead to full-time positions. Rvce get benifit from its location and alumni base

Placement Experience

5

From 5th semester internship and placement start happening in a large scale Many companies visited total 240 this year which includes samaung, amazon, Microsoft, nvidia, ibm, Orcacel are few best companies Height is 91lpa Average is 13.5 lpa 88% get placed I planned to go for mtech after graduation

Yearly fees is about 275000 plus 6000 per semester for examination fees Tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees and the other compulsory charges For General is 275000 who come from comedk examination Students who come from KCET have different fees structure depending upon the category from 60000/year to 150000/year . Students who are from karnataka get more scholarship then other state student by the government and other organization

Campus Life

4

Campus life at rvce is really fun and engaging the crowd is a mix of people from different places so you get to meet all kinds of people there are lots of clubs both technical and cultural and being part of one makes college life even better the college keeps organizing workshops tech talks and cultural events so there is always something happening the biggest fest is 8th mile which is super fun with music dance and competitions we also celebrate things like kannada rajyotsava and ethnic day which bring a lot of energy to the campus overall my experience has been great made some really good friends learned a lot and had a lot of fun

Admission

As a student at RV College of Engineering (RVCE), I chose this institution over many others available through the COMEDK exam because of its outstanding reputation and strong industry connections. The admission process was straightforward: after completing my 12th grade with required subjects, I sat for the COMEDK UGET exam, which is a common entrance test for numerous engineering colleges in Karnataka. Despite the higher tuition fees associated with COMEDK admissions compared to state quotas, I believed that RVCE's emphasis on research, innovation, and excellent placement opportunities made it the best choice for my engineering education.

Faculty

5

Faculty to student ratio is 1:16 Faculty are in their cabin you can easily go and talk with them in there free time Best faculty for me is Prakash sir he is our maths teacher for 1st year he is a maths vigard and very helpful regarding to grades. There is no such bad teacher but if i have to name it would be sujan sir of mechanical department he us very annoying. There are 3 exam as internal examination and 1 semester end exam 3-4% fail to clear exam Couce is very much updated and mainly industry standard subject is thought we have an EL in which real industry project to be made that carries 50% internal marks

Interview Experience

5

I wrote Comedk for admission For rvce you have to be the best in comedk exam as for cse in rvce you have to be under 500 rank I prepared from the last year pyqs ans taken some mock test which was very useful Exam is of 180 marks ans 180 question are asked which make it difficult in term of time management but question are easy to crack

Placement is good, every student who tries to get placement will surely be placed in campus placements, but off campus would be difficult as this cllg is a tier-3 cllg, so many companies reject in resume shortlisting. Maximum every CSE student will get placed but max of them would get placed at an offer of 3.5 or 4.5lpa

I would say academic wise. There is nothing much happening right now in first year, but then there are many events like hackathons happening where and we can participate and learn a lot even our first year and we have English film and Japanese film, which is basically a whole language club and there are a lot of activities happening such as debate and all, which is obviously helping us gain a lot of public speaking skills and confidence.
