Likes

The campus is very lively and nice. there are many food stalls.
The labs of every department are well maintained.
The infrastructure is decent enough and is upgraded every year.

Dislikes

The attendance system is very horrible. No time to breath.
The faculties aren’t very student friendly except for a few.
The time table and schedule is also horrible.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of 1st year and 2nd year is foundation and fundamental orientated and the curriculum of 3rd and 4th year is industry oriented. a few concepts are outdated but essential as well. the exam time is horrible. they don't give gaps or holidays and the evaluation is also bad

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee for management students is ?2,50,000 per year. Students who get in via CET or COMEDK have their fee around ?80,000- ?1,25,000. This fee includes everything including lab, exam, etc. Scholarship fee may depend on which scholarship has been opted.

Campus Life

The campus experience has been decent so far. there are many events, many clubs and the best part is students get activity points for being in clubs. Sports are given equal amount of importance along with academics. The only problem is the students have to beg for attendance later on

Admission

Honestly, this college has better facilities than most colleges in bangalore. Especially the labs are amazing for a student to work on. the events are good enough. The admission is hassle free only documents needed

Faculty

So the course i have is electrical. the faculty isn't too great as they don't support students as much except for like a handful of them. The marking system is messed but ok. there are two LA (learning assessment) components for 20 marks. you have to fight for them. it could be quiz or assignment or project. there are 2 internals for 50 marks each which will be reduced an avg of 30. Then everything will be added to form a 50 internals marks. the sem ends is for 100 which will be reduced to 50

Night Life

The night life is the best. i'm not a hostel student but i did stay back for a couple of events. the locality is safe for female students and there are guards arund everywhere to prevent any sort of mishap

Course Curriculum Overview:

Though i needed cse with cybersecurity but i didnt get it so i went with Robotics and ai. In first year they have many subjects of all course which are basic and fundamentals of all branches Some are good in real world application They should add more practical stuff then theories We have 1 to 1½ month gap betwen internals and some 10 days gap between 2nd internal and sem difficult level varies every year

Think more than Twice

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a tech-enthusiast and chip designing is something i have been keen to know about and hence i went in for ECE Course. The curriculum is just same as the other engineering colleges. Detailed enough to pass the semester end exams. Teaching methods and the equipments need to be changed. Its high time. While other colleges are using well designed new technologies for lab experiments, ours is still stuck on the old methods which is very frustrating as we dont receive accurate results that affects our performance.

PES has very good placement opportunities. Placements start from the 7th semester. Many multi-national companies come for campus recruitment. The highest package offered is 1.5 crore. The average package is around 9 to 11 lpa.

NMIT - An overview

The eligibility to join the course is to have passes class 10+2 from any recognized board and to have secured passing marks in PCM. I have joined through comedk which is an exam conducted every year to get admission into karnataka Medical and engineering colleges. It's an exam similar to JEE except that syllabus is a bit less but no of questions is more than JEE.
