Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course is descent and mixes thory+practical. It also helps us prepare for GATE and higher studies. Teachers keep updating the information and tell us about new technologies through research. Exams are fair and easy if studied properly.

Internships Opportunities

5

DRDO/NAL might give internships to the students. Since I am still in first year, we do not have much information or access to internships right now. I believe some of the internships aren't handed to us, we have to chase them down

Placement Experience

4

Placements start in 7th sem and IT companies like infosys and TCS dominate. For aeronautical engineers with higher gpa (>8) can expect placement offers upto 12LPA. Around 70-80% of overall students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

I joined throught kcet in 2024 as my rank was 22893 and I payed a total amount of 108084. Tution fees: 69214 Other fees: 20000 Registration fees: 3510 Exam fees: 3600 Skill Enchantment Program fee: 4500 Skill Development Program: 7260 Total: 108084 The above is fee structure for people who joined through kcet. People who joined through management have to pay around 3 lakhs.

Campus Life

5

My favorite fest was Anaadantya. Its really nice and they keep doing activities like dancing, singing, etc and they are super friendly. They also include teachers in those activities and are really creative. My seniors and teachers are really great

Admission

I tried top colleges like RV and PES but my rank wasn't good enough. I was interested in aeroplanes and its dynamics so I took admission in NMIT because Aero faculty is good. My rank in kcet-2024 was 22893 so I easily got admission through kcet in 2024

Faculty

5

Faculty to student ratio is quite good. Faculty is really approachable for any doubts and they are super friendly. All faculties are good and I dont find any reason to hate anyone. Exams are not difficult to be honest and they can be passed easily if studied properly.

Night Life

5

It has really nice night lifestyle. Since I dont live in hostel, my friends are allowed to roam around in campus till 9or10pm. After that time girls are strictly not allowed to go outside hostel (not allowed to roam inside the campus too). They need special permission from warden at night with genuine reasons. Its really safe for girls who live in the campus and monitor their presence everyday.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem. The highest on campus package this year was around 64 LPA, while as far as I know, the top 20% of the students usually get offers in the 16-24LPA range. The overall placement rate is good, but results depend a lot on your skills and practice

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a tech-enthusiast and chip designing is something i have been keen to know about and hence i went in for ECE Course. The curriculum is just same as the other engineering colleges. Detailed enough to pass the semester end exams. Teaching methods and the equipments need to be changed. Its high time. While other colleges are using well designed new technologies for lab experiments, ours is still stuck on the old methods which is very frustrating as we dont receive accurate results that affects our performance.
