- The placement services and the support provided are really useful because I belong to mechanical branch and the placement rate of mechanical branch is quite high, so Obv I really appreciate the effort from the placement office.
Dislikes
- The building is dusty sometimes, and also the building doesn't have a lift.
- Coming to the campus amenities, drinking water is not available.
- Because I belong to 29th batch, our batch are the batch to face the new syllabus, so we don't have any previous year question paper, model question paper, so accademic pressure is high.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course curriculum is very relevant for real life problems, it has a lot to do with application level knowledge, so our syllabus is very efficient for all engineering students, it gives us optimum knowledge and the right amount of liberty for us to explore our own interests besides our accademics.
Internships Opportunities
Royal Enfield, Mahendra, TCS, Toyota, Tata, Suzuki and Yamaha companies visit our college for internship, placement etc etc. Stipend for internship depends on the company that has employed us, it mostly ranges from 6k-25k.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fee structure for our course is around ?49,600, which includes tuition fees, registration fees, caution deposit, and other compulsory charges. The fee remains almost the same for the complete course and is not increasing much. Students admitted under the SNQ quota pay only ?10 as fees. Scholarships like EGA, SSP, and NSP are available for eligible students from SC, ST, and other reserved categories. Overall, the fee structure is affordable compared to other colleges. Campus Life
We have a number of clubs like technical clubs including IEEE, Marvel, E-cell, AAA, GDG etc and cultural clubs including Vachana for talking related things, Vinimaya for debates, Tatva for acting, Eunoia for Fashion and Gymkhana for sports related club.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel fees is 34000. My room is of 5 sharing room, and it's a spacious room, has good ventilation in the room. Meal quality is mediocre and menu is good. Registration process is not too tiring and Affordability is good.
Admission
I chose this college because of the great reputation, rich legacy and huge alumni network. On top of that this is a government institution so obviously this was cost-effective choice for me. I never applied for any other colleges than this because this college was always my one and only choice.
Faculty
Faculty are great, knowledgeable and friendly. Our course structure include 6 subjects per sem, I'm a mechanical branch student so our syllabus started with C cycle. Exam systems are very well designed and they are on time. The evaluation is strict yet sincere just like how it should be.
Night Life
I'm a student who stays in the hostel, so night for us is dead, we just get into the hostel before 7:30pm, that's our target for everyday. Near our hostel we have numerous gyms, cafeteria and libraries because our hostel is located in one of the safest cities of Banglore.
