Course Curriculum Overview

4

If you are concentrated on placements it's better to choose CSE, ISE, AIE and ECE is also little better. Other than these courses the placement packages is little bit low. And very few students may get decent packages. Coming to exams, if you read all the syllabus you can get good marks.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internships with stipend are start from 5th sem in our college. And also placements are also starts from 5th sem. Some of the companies that visit our college are vipro, Infosys, tata consultancy services, HCL technology, microsoft, oracle, IBM etc.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are good mainly for IT related courses. And average package is around 6to 7 LPA. I came here in the intention of grtting placed in the college campus only. From 5th semester you can get internships as well as placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm studying in University of Visvesvaraya College of engineering Banglore. Course fees is 48000 per annum and 3000 exam fee per every sem. My native is Udupi soo I'm dtaying in pg where I'm paying 6,500 per month, and nearly 80000 per annum.

Campus Life

4

In our college aside of studies and college internship and placements there are soo many clubs and groups where they will teach you soo many skills that are required for placements. Coming to sports you can have zero expectations because in our college they won't conduct any sports.

Hostel Facilities

3

College hostel for boys is located beside the college campus. But for girls it is in jnanabharathi. Boys hostel food is good. And it's difficult to find pg near the college. I'm staying in vijaynagar and travelling in metro daily.

Admission

I chose this college because it is a government college. Comparing to other colleges its fees is very low. And comparing in position it is also one of the top college in banglore. Placements are good. And it is autonomous college

Faculty

4

Firstly faculties are good and they teach well. But if they are not able to complete the syllabus before last working day, they just end up till what they taught and remaining are students responsibility. Courses available are CSE, ISE, AIE, ECE, EEE, ME, CE and architecture. Placements for IT sectors are good but for core courses it will be little difficult and you may get low packages. Coming to exam structure They conduct 2 inyernals for 20 marks each and give 5 marks assignment for each internals. Final sem exam will be for 100 marks then they reduce it to 50 and then add it up with internals marks. Based on that marks they will calculate your CGPA.

Night Life

4

Arround our college there is civil court and other colleges. No cafeteria, gym nothing. You can go to cubbon park which is near to our college. There is boys hostel in back of the college. And no timing for that at any time you can enter the hostel and food is good.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 4th year as placement training occurs in 3rd year(6th semester). There are multiple companies like Infosys, Oracle, ABC, HP, Adobe and many other companies that visit our college for placements. The highest package was 56 LPA and the placement percentage is about 80 to 95% so there is a strong chance of placement in RNSIT.

Placements in our college are pretty good with the average package being around 10 lakhs. Our college provides comprehensive training to prepare us for placments by conducting training over 2 months for both technical rounds as well as non-technical aptitude rounds. Mock interviews are conducted in order to prepare us for the real interviews.

Placement Experience:

Regarding placements , students are eligible from third sem for IT branches and 6th sem for non IT branches based on how they develop their skills. There is also a memorandum of understanding or m o u with different companies by our college which encourages internships but basically we have to skill up ourselves which the IT branch students can easily do . Core branch students are eligible from 6th semester as their skills are not developed because there the subjects are more and the concept building wouldn't have happened till 6th sem. Hence we are eligible from 6th semester. This time the placements are really good core branches have got the highest placements in triple e that is electrical and electronics engineering out of 90 students 86 students have been placed which is setting a record in the college placement history for IT branches though the packages not as much as 40 LPA, a package would range from 3 to 15 lpa by companies like thought works Infosys LTTS etc. I have my future plan is to get placed in a good company work there for few years to gain professional experience and do my masters.

Placements of our college was an average because our college is located in rural area and companies were not ready to come to that rural place but our placement officer used to try very hard in order to help students and get placed in well company. During the last year i.e, 7th semester palcements used to come and depending on our eligibilty we attented the interviews. My plans after the degree completion was to do software courses and join in software company because i did electrical and eletronics engineering.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNSIT are decent and consistent, especially for CS-related branches. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. The placement cell conducts training programs including aptitude tests, coding practice, mock interviews, and soft skills sessions to prepare students. Many reputed companies such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, and some product-based companies visit the campus. The highest package in recent years has gone above 20 LPA (mostly for CS/IT related roles), while the average package ranges between 4–6 LPA depending on the branch. Most offers are for roles like Software Developer, System Engineer, Analyst, and Associate Engineer.
