This college gives lot of freedom for students.Especially Graduates need to prepare for placement,so time table is just 3 -4 hours.
Teachers in UVCE is very Good.Techers teach very nicely,Hence best to apply to this college

Infrastructure needs to improved in my college University of Vishveshvaraya College of Engineering.
Summer holidays or sem end Holidays are not provided in my college.They only give Study holidays for exams.

Course Curriculum Overview

My teachers would finish syllabus early, so that students could revise for exam properly and write exam. Timing of exam is as usual 3 hours.It is correct timings for students to increase their speed and accuracy.

My experience over campus life is the best in my life.It is glorious memory to be remembered.I actually applied for 2 clubs .But I didn't get selected for those clubs because of my lack of skills from that respective club.

Admission

Admission process is very cool.Cutoff for Electronics and Communication engineering students was around 6k rank in 1st round. I got 5k rank and joined this college. Since my rank was good, I was alloted to SNQ seat.

Faculty

My teachers are the best in my college.They teach all the other doubts aswell.Faculty to students ratio is 1:100.So it's easy if all the other students also has same teacher because it will help students to network and share notes to one another.We rarely interact with teachers because of Technology that has improved.

The Reality of Studying Here

Placement Experience:

from 6th Sem u are eligible to sit for the placement. A lot of companies come to the college i don't focus on company name my focus will be on the CTC and average is 4-5LPA and the highest package was 20LPA. but very less student get placed because they don't have proper technical skill and the one who have skills they are placed in our college. before getting a Degree i need a job from Campus Placement this is my plan after getting Degree let's see I haven't made any plans right now.

MVJ college of engineering has a good Placement record, for branches like CS and ECE The Placement activities are handled by Placement Cell, which begins preparing students from 6th semister through aptitude session, communication skills etc They maintain good score like 60% and above academic percentage the students are eligible for placement drive from 6th semister onwards At my time at college some 10 companies visited the campus Highest package from my batch is 5L per Annum Most placement are in roles like developer and Networking side for core branches they get opportunities in design, testing and maintenance roles Overall MVJ provides good placement opportunities

Placement Experience:

KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . Average package is about 4-6LPA . KSIT attracts many IT based recruitiers with some core companies for non -IT branches . • I got my seat through KCET exam, so basically in my order priority UVCE was the 5th college and I knew that I'll not get the other 4 colleges because I knew my score, cutoffs of those colleges and my category reservations too well. Why I chose this college was simple, I knew for a fact that it was affordable. • Coming to the rejection part it was never like doorstep rejection it was just the feeling of shit-I-wanted-it. As they say, whatever happens it happens for something good, and now that I see how the colleges I happened to get are charging, I feel good for not getting in. • The admission process began when KEA website announced the 2nd rounds results of KCET and opened the admission portal. We had to pay fees to the KEA portal and generate a payment receipt/challan after that we'd recieve a admission order, then we had to go to the allotted college and show the admission order and go with our attested documents signed sealed and present it and tada admission done....Read More
