About HIT
Hirasugar Institute of Technology was established in 1996 to provide quality technical education to the students in pursuit of technical education. The institute is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.
The college is spread in an sprawling 48+ acres of land surrounded by natural floral beauty. The infrastructure of the college attracts many students from the nearby region as well as from distant places. Facilities like modern classrooms & laboratories gives the college an added point.

Library :
The Library consists about 31,200 books in various subjects from different departments. Other than this, 39 journals and periodicals are also subscribed.
Hostel :
The Institute provides separate hostel facility for boys and girls with capacity of 670 for boys and 270 for girls. Hostels are situated inside the campus. Security is provided in the hostel round the clock.

The Civil Services Preliminary exam comprises of two compulsory papers of 200 marks each (General Studies Paper I and General Studies Paper II). The questions will be of multiple choice, objective type. The marks in prelims will not be counted for final ranking, but just for qualification for the main exam
Admission:
Good college to study in overall fields like sports and activities. Not to expenses in their own field. Sports are too attractive an intake part. Activities are also attractive. Immense in the behavior of the students in their activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:
In an average it was good but not enough time to study complete syllabus for exam. I remember firts year all subject are common for all branches and then we need to study our specified branch subject. The subject are digital electronics, communication system, mathematics, field theory, computer communication network and programming languages.
Admission:
College is very good and the services provided by the management is also very good. The management is student friendly listens to every request of the students and try to fulfill them.

The college management was good as far as concern of humility, but there was lack of fund with them & hence facilities very not adequate.
