NITK

As a mining student in NITK , its a good branch you will get a huge of free time in which you can use it for developing your other skills ,like coding , video editing , photography etc... and in mining sector also many profesor are good they teaches well. Curriculum of mining is easy if you are ready 1 week beforb exam also you can wasily score 9+ cgpa . In NITK mainly 4 exams will be taken , 1st quiz(10%) , mid sem(25%) , 2nd quiz(15%) and end sem(50%). Quizes will be of 30 mins mid sem will be of 1.5 hr and end sem 3 hr

many companies offer the internship to students . companies like jio,nvidia, spinklr India offers upto 1 to 1.5 lakhs to students. every companies have there different projects and criteria's to select the students.

Placement in nitk is one of the best , here about 95% of people are getting placed , as a mining engineer also previous year in 2023 about 97% of mining people get placed, many of the people go for non cores like SDE, analytics... etc .. previous year one people from mining cracked 1 cr package from off-campus and off campus also 22 lpa is the highest placement from mining, mainly companies that allow mining people are jio,axis bank,axiphyl,accenture,spinklr India, HSBC...etc MY plans for placements are like i am interested in coding things so i will go in some software companies and i know NITK is gone a Support me for this.

Actually , Fee Structure depends on the family income if the family income is below 1 lakh there will bw no tution fee if family income is in between 1 to 5 lakhs there will only 1/3 of tution fee will be taken and if income greater than 5 lakhs whole tution fee will be taken , There is actually 5% incresement of college fees every semester there is mainly 3 types of fees mainly tution fee , other fees and hostel+mess fees , tution fee depends on family income but other fees and hostel+mess fees are fixed for all students. scholarships are there but statewise mainly people get but as i am from bihar and my state gives scholarship to students ,whose family income is less than 1 lakh ,only .and there are some scholarship which are private like reliance who take a test for there scholarships.

NITK Campus is awesome , It has its own beach which is the major eyetracker for our college , campus is very beautiful and mindblowing . our college has two fests namely 'Incident', which is cultural fests and 'Engineers' which is technical fests of our college,Incident is something which is huge and it is the biggest fest in south India , Incident is held in Feb/March and Engineer in November. Nitk has two library for students namely central and e-library ,central library is for both book borrowing and reading but e library is for only reading in silence environment ,In central library you will get huge variety of books including all your academics and other field books. Some professors are very good but some are very boring , so you will get around 50% good proffessor and 50% boring Classroom in NITK is one of the premium ,Its called CIDS benchs are premium you get a projector ,good walls and lifts good washrooms and all other facilities. for sports in campus you can play any games

For 1st year you get 3 shared room with one table,one chair , one almira for each student , you get two windows in a room. from second year you get double adn 3rd and 4th year gets single rooms messes are not that good but meals are good for health some of the day you get good food else rest of days foods are eatable, at the end of every month you get Grand dinner which is one of the best meal. hostels and mess registrations are done online on;y by IRIS website and its easy to do. Hostels are good rooms are big enough to occupy 3 people and hots and cold water you get for drinking and in surathkal mainly seasons are hot and spring only there is no winters here so no need to bring cloths for winters

I got this college by giving JEE MAINS Exam and after that participating councelling like JoSAA and CSAB .there is no as such eligiblilty if you are a student got a seat in mining engineering by Josaa or Csab you are good to go with this. My brother suggested me to prepare for Jee Exam and all such information was given by him. As a OBC you don't get as such reservation but if are from SC /ST you can get a huge difference in the rank .Exams are 180 min and 90 question , in which 75 questions you have to attempt. In NITK all admission processes are nice it will take 2-3 hour on the day of reporting and its chill don't be panic if you short with some document also they will ask you to give them in a month , all adminstrative people are chill and nice ????
