NITK,SURATHKAL review

My college location is very good ,it has its own beach where you can visit whenever you want.
Here placement is also very good.Here average package is 17 lakh.you will for sure will be placed if you work hard

Dislikes

Food taste is not that good in taste even my professors agrees with that but its fresh for sure.
It is very far away from my hometown .If i go by train it almost takes 3 days and if you take flight it will cost you a lot.

Admission:

Whatever i left for this college was worth that's why i did it.firstly its placement that is very good ,its beauty. the exposure it provides to the students. I also applied for nit trichy .I wanted to have ice branch at nit trichy but this year it closed on 14k and my rank was 15k. every process will be online.to get admission in my college you must give the entrance exam jee mains and get a good score.there is no other way to make into it.Qualifying marks is about 150/300. my admission process got very smooth firstly counselling was done then seat booking via paying online and you can do your payment even after visiting your college also. my college is really good college. everyone is working hard to get into it.

INTERNSHIPS AT NITK

My admission to NITK happened through CSAB councelling. NITK is an institute of national importance and ranked 2 among NITs in India. I preferred this college because the opportunities the college provides are immense. To join NITK i had to clear JEE Mains with a very good percentile. Admission process is smooth and cooperative. For general category students to get a seat in NITK they must have a minimum percentile of around 96 , that is the cut-off. No I didn't get a rejection from any other institute.

Honest review

Like the campus is of 300 acres, with playground and a personal beach of its own.
Then the professors who are well learned.

The food in every mess is below average, especially at nights.
We need to share a small room with 3 students in first year then with 2 in second year

Like if I had chance now to choose other colleges then also i would choose NIT because of the placements, internship, network, the nit tag like it has many merits so it's better instead of choosing a private college with cs it's better to choose nit with lower branches as the ctc would be same.

NITK surathkal: A Comprehensive Review

Here I like the campus, the buildings are good looking.
The private beach belong to this college is like wow.

The weather in this area is what I hate mostly.
Friends are good but sometimes because of language barriers you will get neglected and miss some opportunities.

I choose this college as the nirf rank was 10th. The college has private beach. Here placement is good. And I came here to improve my English language as I came from Assam. I didn't choose other colleges. I was sure that according to previous cut off marks I will get chance to admit in this college.

THE LIFE OF NITK

There will be events for every week and it is very good
There is a beach in our college which is nice to explore

Infrastructure is not soo good as it is a old college
The faculty staff are so strict and some are good

As our college is NIT we need to crack jee mains to get admission in our college. I'm from Karnataka so I choosed NITK because I'll be having home state advantage during admission and I'll be in my own state which is very beautiful

NITK: The college for the best

Good infrastructure and maintenance, the hostels are kept well and the mess is also clean and hygenic
There is newly made sports complex, swimming pool and many other clubs(both technical and non technical) for students to improve their skills and learn something new

The evaluation is continuous, which makes the student hard to focus on extra curricular activities.
In semesters, the college is working even on saturdays, to avoid the stay here when there is water scarcity. Accelerating the semester makes it hard to catch up

National Institiute of Technology Karnataka is ranked among the best engineering college in the country. They are offering best possible courses for a person to excel in the field of engineering. Being a Tier-I college, this college provides many more facilities than any average college. Interests in extracurricular activities can also be honed here. With high achieving faculties. there is always motivation to become better and achieve more. I had written JEE-Advanced too , but did not opt going into Tier-III IIT because of the reputation and status NITK has. The admission in NITK is done through JoSAA councelling, which needs high ranking in JEE Mains for admisssion.

The Events organised in the campus either cultural or technical.
The ratio of the boys to girls like 4:1 and out of 8800 students nearly about 1600 girls are there...

The syllabus is not tough but lengthy, the classes and works aur too hectic here you will able to get enough to explore new things, see new domains work on your interests...
Very small semesters are there nearly about 4 months odd sem and 25 days vacation after it in even sem it is even shorter than the odd one just of 3-3.5 months and rest are holidays nearly about 3.5 months vacation.. Such irregularity in conduction

I reached upto this college by the jee mains exam getting decent rank... This is one of the best college for the exposure, extracurricular activities, wonderful facilities and everything but the thing is it is very hectic you will get time for anything other then just syllabus coverage... For more than concept building it is more than syllabus coverage...

NITK insights

This is the second best NIT of India, it has a really good NIRF rank that was the reason I chose it.. and I do not regret my decision. I gave one of the most toughest exam JEE and cleared it to come to this college. If you're a general student you must get 95%ile above to get into this college.

Everything about NIT-K Surathkal

I liked the exposure here as it is one of the best colleges of our country, great brains, great ideas
I also liked the greenery here as there are trees everywhere well maintained.

Disliked the discrimination here for northies although its very less.
Disliked the management in some instances

I applied for nit trichy, nit Warangal, nit Rourkela, mnnit allahabad. All these colleges have their admission process through JoSAA so I got this college only and because of my preference order. I preferred this college because of a comparatively better study exposure in south india. And also it is one of the top engineering colleges in india. I wanted better exposure, better people who can help me grow in various fields. I did get rejection from government colleges like iits and nits because my rank wasn't enough to be selected in the streams which i opted for in those colleges.
