Course Curriculum Overview

Computer science is in so demand thats the reason i choosen this course. They vil just use the ppt to explain they wont use chalk and board which is best method but they just scroll the ppts. Sometimes it feels to cover the syllabus in short time

Placement Experience

As of now there is no placements Very less number of companies are visiting our college for hiring. Only 20% students are getting placed. The average package is 4-5 lakhs And the highest package is 40lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

From cet ISE course 1st year:120000 2nd year:119000 3rd year: 100000 Scholarship:19k For management seat maximum 4 lakh per year fees for ise course and for ECE course they will take maximum 3nlakh per year.

Campus Life

Verve is the only fest is conducted by our college once a year and it will be so good. There are particular teams in our college for dancing,singing,drama etc etc. Western dance: x-stat team Classical dance: abha team Singing: cadence Drama: meraki Anchoring team and jss studio for camera . Extracurricular activities are supported

Hostel Facilities

They will provide hot water , they will clean bathrooms and rooms 2 times a week. Meal quality is so poor. They will provide avalakki idli sambar bisibele bath for breakfast. Lunch will be better but dinner will be bad. They will provide special dinner once a month .

Hostel Fee: INR 89000 per year

Admission

My cet ranking is appropriate to this college so i got this college (16k). I got seat through cet. Based on the documentation they vil allot the college according to ur ranking. Cutoffs for ISE is 18k ranking in 2022

Faculty

The faculty to students ratio is very good, teachers are so friendly. We can approach at any time. There are total 2 internals and 1 externals per sem Internals are conducted very strictly . Vtu scheme of evaluation is quite difficult

Interview Experience

There will be no group discussion,interview while admission. We should write kcet exam and get seat accordingly to our ranks . If not we should get admission through management quota. There will be 3 rounds in kcet for college selection.

Night Life

There are 2 cafeterias in out college, library is present in our college that is very good and big. Girls hostel is inside the college campus for safety purpose Inside the collecollege we can hangout nesr arun anna canteen and outside the college we can visit yo cafes near our college Locality is quite scary around night time

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.

I applied to many college like sjbit,global ,jnnce,pes,rv,bms and many more They above were all need a higher grade than what I had scored. Jss was near to my home and i had a direct bus root for the college and it has a big campus and a lot of good grades form the students to back it up I couldn't get into bms ,pes or rv because my grades weren't good enough.
