Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculam includes labs for almost every major subjects making the course practical with theoritical. The placemnt program that you get from the first years named as "TYL" moight be the best thing of the college. They have language , aptitude , core subjects , proggramming skills , and every thing that a company wants in their employee. i feel due to so many things happening in the college the curriculam has become very hectic sdo number of periods can be decreased so that students can get more time off the college. Exams happen almost every 2 month since you give 2 internals and a vtu exam every sem. Internals for some subject might be easy but for others they are tough.

Internships Opportunities

3

So as told by the seniors there are many comapnies that come to hire interns and provide ppo if you do well. one of seniors that i talked to is doing his internship in accenture currrently. Here you get attendance if you go for internships but only paid internships are considered. Apart from that i am not aware of the whole structure since i am in my first sem currently.

Placement Experience

4

the placements oppurtunity are there and you can grab a very good paackage from here. The highest is around 44 , average is 7 lpa. Students become eligible for final placemnts from 6-7 semester. Companies like thermo fisches , fractal , belc , hitachi and many other, have visited. The percentage of placemnt is quite high but people grabbing more than 30lpa is very few. after degree i want to go for job directly.

Fees and Financial Aid

the tution fees wouyld be 2,95000 but apart from that you also pay around 45 additional so almost its 340000. This fees is for all the people coming from comedk. Fir kcet it is relatively very low but for comedk(non kanartak students) it is considerably higher than the colleges in up/other states

Campus Life

4

there is aura - which is the main fest of the college after which you have spardha which is sports fest and there are others which i am not very intrested in. The books and journal are extensive , they are available in both hard and soft copy. As wrote earlier library is something that wont let you down in any way.in classroooms you have a white board behind which you have a smart board on which video classes are also being taken. There are many clubs which keep organising things that you can participate in college programs , you have table tennis , cricket , football , dedicated basketball court , volleyball court so yes sports is not something that you would be scarced of in the campus.

Admission

I applied to aktu colleges and colleges through uptac and then some schools like nst and scalar, i dint reach to the final admission in any other college since i was cautious of not wasting my money by paying seat acceptance fees. I choosed this course because i had more confident in this college since it is a banglore college so you get a lot of exposure here. For the ther colleges that i apllied in , I was very close to pying seat acceptance fees in couple of the noida colleges but then i thought banglore would be more pivotal for my career. My college accepts students throught three ways comedk , kcet and management quota. i enterd thorugh comedk quota.

Faculty

5

faculty are very friendly. They try their best to motivate students to study and help them to their best. You also a get a personal mentor which is actually a faculty themselves so that is a very nice additon to have. The best faculty are pakhrudeen sir , Deepansha ma'am for the academics as they teach the toughest of the subjects but make it easy and ensure every student in the class is with them through entire topic. There are not any such faculties that i can say are not good because i like them all. There are two internals every sem and one university exam. Internals for certain subject might feel easy but for others are not that easy. University exams are tough as told by seniors.around 10% of the students fail. Course seems extremely job oriented according to my level of understanding and i kinda like that.

Night Life

4

around the college the very first street is open till 2-am night so thats really a good part. We like to hangout near the lakes close to the colleges , inside the campus we love to hangout in the canteen or basketball court. after the classes many students go and study again since this college is full of nerds. We ouselves go and roam and walk a lot in neighbourhoods of the college. The gym is available for hostel students. Library is extremely good and you can stay their till 12 pm.
