Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course curriclulum is pretty normal, nothing out of the ordinary. Some of it might be useful while some of it doesn't feel that useful. overall, the curriculum is similar to the surrouding colleges. You'll have 3 internal exams every sem with final sem exams being in the end of the semsester

Internships Opportunities

1

I guess they'll give us an internship at 3rd year but it's not that useful. it's better to look for one yourself. As long as you improve your skills and portfolio, the college you attend matters less.

Placement Experience

2

Placements are pretty bad, most companies that come here hire in bulk for low packages and if you're lucky, you might get hired with a decent package but that's rare. There are many whou end up without a job. your best choice would be to try your hand off campus

Fees and Financial Aid

Through comedk in cse, it'll cost you 9-9.5 for 4 years. Through Kcet, it'll cost you around 4-5 lakhs. And around 15 lakhs through management quota. Overall, it's pretty affordable comepared to other colleges in bangalore.

Campus Life

2

The fest that happens each year is called Ananya. It's small compared to other colleges but it's alright. It usually happens for 3-4 days. And random events happen every now and then which usually last a day. The clubs here are not take that seriously.

Admission

My main reason I chose this college was becaue the travel time it takes to reach the college wfrom where I live is prettly short. My rank wasn't good enough to get into other colleges. The admission process here was simple and smooth

Faculty

3

The faculty student ratio is probably around 1:40, most of the fauculty is approachable. some are good while some are bad. Exams are easy to pass if you prepare a week prior, atleast a lot easier compared to PU syllabus

Night Life

1

There's no nightlife here in this college, the college hostel is in another campus which is approx 3 km from the college. There's one cafeteria in the basement of decent size. College starts at 8:30 and ends at approx 4.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
