KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . i liked the campus.. reason is there is very greenary.. and good infrastructure oustide..it is vey calm and can socalize with everyone.. so i like campus more than anything.. we can sit and relax for sometime
i like library.. it has vey much books.. it has around 2 floors of library.. wghich contains textbooks magazine n all.. so much books are available and are given to everyone.. and there is reading room present

mess food.. it is very expensive and also taste is not good.. as everyone says the taste is not good and its not hygiene.. its not healthy and there is no seating arrangement.. soo its very tough to eat there

KSIT - A good college with everything mixed level.

Likes

Good teachers, very friendly & teaching is good.
Easy to travel due to multiple transports.

Placement Experience:

The on-campus usually starts in 6th Semester. A company called MathCo was the first company it came for the role of analyst. Around 5-7 people got selected. The average package would be usually around 4-4.5 LPA, but highest package was 6.25 from PlanetSpark for role of Sales. The percentage is nearly to 10-12%. After degree, get a job and work for atleast 2 years for learning current trends is my basic thought as of now.

Education is good compared to other colleges in Tier 2
Teachers are student friendly except some
Events will be conducted by student groups

You have to write lot of Assignments. If u join to any college which is vtu affiliated then it's the same.
You should take signatures from all teachers for receiving hall ticket.Its also applicable for all vtu colleges.
There are 2:1 girls to boys ratio. We have a cement ground in middle of the building which is not enough to play.

Placement Experience:

Recently Infosys visited our college and recruited many students. Other companies such as tcs, Wipro, IBM visit our college every year. Highest package in 2024 is 16lpa and lowest package received by the student is 5.5lpa.

Commuting is easy as there's a metro station nearby
There are many hostels and PGs around the college
There are many places to hang out around the college

Dislikes

Campus is small compared to other colleges
People from other states might face problems in understanding the language
Clubs are not that active here in this college

Placement Experience:

Placements are pretty bad, most companies that come here hire in bulk for low packages and if you're lucky, you might get hired with a decent package but that's rare. There are many whou end up without a job. your best choice would be to try your hand off campus

The classes are quite well maintained and availability of digital projection.

Dislikes

Few teachers are inexperienced and induce a lot of chaos in class.
The necessity of providing continuous assessment and assignments all at once.
Lack of proper sports ground exclusive to college.

At this point not much. I am quite enthusiastic about learning there subject. The core subjects are much more relevant this time and are quite basic for our future. The teachers need to provide proper steps to do practical practice for coding at home rather than making them write lots of programs.
