Dislikes
- You have to write lot of Assignments. If u join to any college which is vtu affiliated then it's the same.
- You should take signatures from all teachers for receiving hall ticket.Its also applicable for all vtu colleges.
- There are 2:1 girls to boys ratio. We have a cement ground in middle of the building which is not enough to play.
Course Curriculum Overview
As 2024 is the last year that our college affilated to vtu. Now the college is autonomous.So exams are conducted and corrected by the college.For us it would have gone to vtu facility to correct papers.Either sem have 2 internal exams or 3 internals. And 2 lab internal exams After that external exams will start.
Internships Opportunities
As I am currently in 3rd there were many group sessions.But internships are provided from 7rd sem. And even you are not allowed to do internships till 7th sem.Even if you enroll they don't give any concession. Companies like accenture provide internships but only for selected number of students.
Placement Experience
Recently Infosys visited our college and recruited many students. Other companies such as tcs, Wipro, IBM visit our college every year. Highest package in 2024 is 16lpa and lowest package received by the student is 5.5lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
Kcet Fees- 1,18,000 in total whether you have got admission slip for less fee as per kea. Comedk Fees-2,20,000 in total.You should pay fees yearly at one shot.They won't give u any installments whether u have joined through cet or comedk. Management Fees- It ranges from 3.5-4lakhs per year as per your rank.
Campus Life
We have annual fest Ananya every year organised by the college.We have a huge library which has many different books and even our college has digital library. In every class projectors are installed and teachers use that very often. In 3rd sem sports period of 55min was given. I don't think except that sem,no sports will be there. But they organise sports meet every year. And even students participate in vtu tournament.
Admission
As my rank was 40k I got through cet by obc(1G) reservation.I tried for Global Institute of Technology.But I didn't get in councelling. As of now curriculum and teaching in kcit is better than global college.I got ksit in 3rd round and Dayanand sagar University located in Harohalli which is 30km away from my college.
Faculty
Lectures get changed every sem.Till now jalaja mam was very strict as she takes mathematics subject.She will take 1st and 3rd sem classes.Other than that almost all teachers are friendly.Anuradha mam takes english for 1-2 send.
Interview Experience
As I joined through cet counselling they wont ask u anythinag and the admission was a smooth process. If u join through management then they will ask your marks.Even for Comed-k they wont ask you anything except Fees.
Night Life
There is no restriction for going out, but you should maintain 85% attendance. Nearby Gold gym, multiple foods shops are available. For students can visit forum Mall which is 3km from KSIT. Many students go there to watch movies.
