- Girls to boys ratio is very less especially in branches like civil and mechanical.However, it is improving right now due to 10% reservation for girls in IITs. ~ Akaash R, B.Tech

I was always into programming and stuff since I was not able to get good percentile in jee i didn't get to take addmission in btech cse. When I saw this course and it's curriculum I knew I have to do this.
Since it's an online course so student faculty ratio doesn't matter they can teach few thousand student at a single time through online platform like zoom,etc. Instructors are good, there is a discourse forum for ever subject you can ask your doubts there.
Factual is good. There professor and there intructors have good teaching experience. They take review from student about the lecture and try to improve them.
Then are two in person quiz and one end term exam and in programming course 1 in person quiz , 2 programming exam and 1 end term exam. If you study well and are able to spend around 20-25 hours a week then you will get good score maybe even S ( highest grade)

There is a great placement opportunity for the students who graduated from this institution. Around 350 companies visited this time they are including Microsoft, Amazon, and Flipkart. No. of offers made by the companies is 13000.

A month-long placements start at IIT Madras every December. 90% of students end up bagging a job at the end of the first phase of placements. Almost certainly the rest of the students end up with a job by the end of the placement drive.

They get campus placements after the course. The companies visiting are Google, amazon, Uber, etc.The average CTC is around 22 lakh. The highest package is above 2 crores. More than 95 percent of students get placed in students who sit for placements. I plan to work in some data analyst job

Placement Experience:
Placement is very high at IIT Madras. Most of the students getting placed and some of them choose higher studies and others are interested in entrepreneurship. The average package in IITM is 21.48 Lakh per annum. And the highest package offered is 2.14 crore per annum.

Most of the students get placements. Generally, the offers made are more than the graduating students of that year. Some students get involved in startup culture before the placements. Placements go as higher as 1 crore per year and as low as 8 lakhs per year (usually core).
For campus placement, you need to be in the pre-final year of college. From the track record of the placements team, last 3 years they have given up to 100% placements. This 100% is those people who applied for placements session. I plan to do a decent job and then switch to management.

Placement stats is like around 90%. The average salary if 25 LPA. The highest salary is 2 crores LPA. The minimum salary is 10Lpa. The campus provides placement and internship with both and the rate of selection is very high.

The professors are very knowledgeable and inform the concept well. The student-faculty ratio is about 60 and there is a faculty review meeting every month and they take it very seriously. Exams are tough.

It is a full-time degree or diploma and so it will have more value than online. But if we compare IIT Madras’ online degree or diploma with any other college’s then it is better.
The duration of the course is 3 years. The mode of training is online, the lectures are mostly recorded and partly live sessions.
Whether the course will be good or not that depends on what subject you are planning to pursue. If you opt for a subject related to technology, then it is not a good option. This is because technology cannot be learned through books or audiovisual. It requires you to be present in the field to gain experience and knowledge.
