Course Curriculum Overview
As it is an top IIT the curricullum is professionally and excellently designed by the course experts. IIT MADRAS offers many courses such as Computer science and engineering, Electrical engineering, Chemical engineering, Civil and many more Msc courses also. The exams are conducted frequently which are very difficult to score.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are provided by many companies such as GOOGLE, MICROSOFT , INFOSYS , ACCENTURE many MNC's and many more core companies for the civil,chemical students. Students even get a large amount of stipends by pursuing their internships.
Placement Experience
As everyone knows generally IIT's have an excellent placement. As a tier one IIT , IIT MADRAS provides highest percentage of placements for it's students in their third year itself. The average package ranges form 30 lakhs to 35 lakhs per annum to CSE students and the highest packages goes around 3 to 4 crores per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the undergraduate students who enter through JEE ADVANCED will be based on their rank they achieve. generally students with reservation have lower fee than with no reservation. Scholarships will be provided by the institute for economically weaker students. The average fee will be 150000 per annum and hostel charges seperately.
Campus Life
The campus life here is soo exciting and there is a lot in campus to explore and experience. The library over here is very large and contains very wide range of books which are access to students. We can even join into our interested clubs and take part in the events conducted actively. The bonding with the seniors will be memorable.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is provided inside the campus premises itself for all undergraduate and graduate level students seperatey. For first years there will be two sharing and four sharing. There is no single sharing provided for first years. The mess food will be good and cooked in an hygenic way.
Admission
The admission over here is considered through your score in JEE ADVANCED for undergradutae courses. We are eligible to write JEE ADVANCED once we are qualified in JEE MAINS. As it is an tier one IIT you need to get very good rank to get an admission. The application form is found in the official website of NTA and application fee will be around 1000 rupees.
