Dislikes

All through the placement semester, I had the opportunity to make relationships with final year students, who were simply batchmates who aided me greatly in this difficult process. Furthermore, the Job and Placement Centre supported us by properly educating all of us prior to bringing together people into the market as better professionals and individuals who contribute considerably to the. Almost everyone in my batch was hired for 4 lakhs. During our MBA location search, the real significant recruiters were McKinsey, Accenture, Dell, Amazon, APPLE, and HCL.

Our University has a best placement team and recruiters were in our batch, with over half of them being new. PeopleStrong, Cadila Pharmaceuticals, and IBM were the top recruiters in terms of offer conditions, with INR 26.5 LPA being the highest remuneration for our program. I got the interview cell guidance for the placement.

Placement Experience:
Atleast in the M.Sc. and M.Tech. courses, from the 3rd semester onwards students are eligible for registration to placements. The companies that recruit students are pfizer for the post of a senior associate scientist, HCL technologies, Genesys Telecom Labs India Pvt. Ltd for software engineer, Evertz for Graduate Engineer and the Tata Consultancy Services among many others. The packages typically range from 3K/ month to 1L/month depending on the job and company. Around 70% to 80% of the students get placed in the top companies each and every year.
After the completion of my M.Sc. degree, I am personally keen to pursue a PhD in Chemistry and delve deeper into the extensive research carried out in this field of Science.

Students are eligible for placements in the final year. There are many big companies that come every year like Google, Microsoft, Amazon etc. The highest package for the CS department will go to above 1 crore per annum and the average package is 24 lakh per annum. For the Chemical department, the Highest package will be around 50 lakh and the average package is 12 lakh per annum. The placements percentage in IIT Madras is usually high.

Placements in the campus are very good. Form semester 7 ie from the start of 4th year students are eligible for Placements. This year there were almost 280 to 300 companies that came to ur campus and almost 80 percent of the students got placed. Highest package was 1 crore 20 lakhs and average package is around 18 lakhs. Accenture and dell was in everyone list.

One can not doubt the placement quality of the college the college is the top engineering college of India so the college placement is also as per the standards. The college maintains a record of 100% placement. The highest placement offer of the college is 70 LPA and the average salary placement is 20 LPA. Qualcomm, Microsoft, Honeywell, Texas Instruments, Goldman Sachs, Bajaj, Auto, JP Morgan, American Express are among the top recruiter of the college.

The training and placement cell at IIT Madras takes care of the internship and placement of the candidate after graduation. The recruiters visiting the campus for placements are Microsoft, Apple, Intel, JP Morgan Chase, Samsung, HSBC, BCG, Morgan Stanley, Flipkart, Citibank, Jaguar, Amazon, blackbuck, Honeywell, AirBus, p & g, RBS, Cisco, Deloitte, standard chartered, Bain and company, Google, Wells Fargo, MasterCard, ITC, Finmechanics. It has a record of 100% placement, Aryan 27 students secured a package of INR 1 crore. American express and Microsoft word are some of the top recruiters. Is recruiters usually look for candidates having prior experience in internships and summer internships hence it is advised to the candidates to carry on some project during their study.

The highest salary package offered was Rs.45 LPA and average salaries of Rs.16 LPA were offered in our final placement program. We were offered the job opportunity mainly from the tech-based company, Research and development departments, and tech-based start-ups. We received offers from medical companies, hospitals, and some MNCs like IBM, Google, Tata, Apple, BCG, etc.

Many big companies come like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, have given offers.
The highest packages are international offers which go in crores, average CTC is 37lpa which is in the profile of software development, followed by Data science profile with average CTC of 20lpa.
My plan after getting a degree is for another exam. and not sitting for placements.

It is a full-time degree or diploma and so it will have more value than online. But if we compare IIT Madras’ online degree or diploma with any other college’s then it is better.
The duration of the course is 3 years. The mode of training is online, the lectures are mostly recorded and partly live sessions.
Whether the course will be good or not that depends on what subject you are planning to pursue. If you opt for a subject related to technology, then it is not a good option. This is because technology cannot be learned through books or audiovisual. It requires you to be present in the field to gain experience and knowledge.
