The most important thing about this course is that we are taught by professors from IIT Madras.Who teaches very well in simple language.Personally, I liked all the professors very much, they explain every topic in simple language. We have three exams in a semester which we call quiz 1, quiz 2 and end term exam.If you attend lectures well and study well and practice questions then you can easily score well.If students do not study well or the lectures are not conducted well, then they fail. This course is very good, we get to learn a lot from IIT MADRAS,which is a big thing in itself.

As the degree is digital degree the student-faculty ratio dosen't applied here, but yeah the student-faculty relationship is too much good, there are gmails, spaces, discourses to intract. All the faculties are lovable are respected and also Professor Sudershan sir (teches python) is one of the most favourite teacher I know, he teaching is remarkable because of his smile, he and every faculty teaches with full of joy and energy.

The specific aspect of curriculum is that it exposes the student to the actual applications of data science in the real world . The exams are held monthly once. Their difficulty level can be rated moderate. The faculty to student ratio is quite huge because the course is online but technically it's 1:1 as a student is only learning from a single faculty at a time while watching his / her lectures. There are 3 exams , namely 2 quizzes and 1 end semester exam
The relationship between students and faculty is very soft. All faculty members are very good. They are presentable. Rather then old college. The coding books are somehow difficult. But teachers teaching very much good.
Girls boys ratio is very decent here, program structure is in 5 stages that are, foundation, Diploma in programming, diploma in data science, BSc and BS level. Faculties cannot be compared as each one of them are best in their own and they are very highly quaified. Live lectures are lesser. Courses gets difficult as time level increases.
As it is the Indian Institute of Technology Madras it secured first place in all IITs it has an excellent environment and facilities, sports like athletics, swimming and many sports are having there its own ground.

Becuse it is an online course the faculty teacher ratio is excellent , there are many mentors and instructor for doubt resolution. I like Madhavan Mukund sir because he teaches comples topic with great ease and make us feel the topic simple and easy to learn. I don't like the math faculty Dr. Sarang S Sane. He has not so good teaching style. There are 3 exams every 4 month. They are medium level difficult. If you have read the topics and understand it , then it is going to be super easy
The faculty to student ratio would be like 1:70 which is pretty good and the faculty is quite approachable. I'm just in 2nd year, but I think the best facilities in chemical are Arun tangirana sir and Renganathan sir. Their way of teaching and expertise is really good. I wouldn't explicitly name the prof I didn't like ???? cause he will still be taking some of my courses, but he's an AM prof. The exams are really difficult, well obviously in an IIT. Also most of the courses are relative grading. Around 3 or 4 students fail to clear a course every sem. The course curriculum is very relevant
Faculties members in this course is very experienced teachers and also Industry level Knowledge they have and also you connect with who are currently working professional in the Company's who are higher position. And Also gain the knowledge throughout them. Modes of examination os totally Ofline throughout the nearest Center in the City. Choose the city and your examination center will be allotted ad per given examination center in your areas. Thanks????????
THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION PROVIDED BY IIT MADRAS IS INCOMPARABLE TO ANY OTHER INSTITUTE IN THE COUNTRY.THERE ARE HIGHLY QUALIFIED FACULTIES,TAs WITH RATIO OF 20:1. PROFESSOR SHIVKUMAR IS GREAT FACULTY AT IITM.THE SEMESTER HERE IS DIVIDED IN MIDSEM AND END SEMS
Do you think the data is wrong ? Report Here
Even though he has retired from IIT Madras, I would like to name V. Balakrishnan sir from the Physics Department as the answer to this question. He is one of the most respected faculty members of all time at IIT Madras.
Sir’s knowledge of Physics is unparalleled. It is absolutely stunning how he used to link the seemingly disparate aspects of the natural world. You can watch his lectures on Classical Mechanics on NPTEL and Youtube. Sir acknowledged and answered the queries of all his students. Not only that, he took those simple questions and slightly modified them, thus leading his students to understand deep and profound concepts.
Sir’s classes ignited new thoughts in his students’ minds, and led them to those answers which they never realized they needed. No one wanted to miss any of his classes, which speaks volumes about his teaching.
My brother is an alumnus of IIT Madras. During his time, Professor Kamakoti was one of the friendliest professors at IITM.
Whenever sir caught someone sleeping in the class or coming late for the lecture, he would simply crack a joke and lighten everyone’s mood. He was an absolute master of his subject. The only thing which frustrated him was the lack of interest among students towards lab coursework.
My brother is not sure if sir still teaches at IITM, but he always fondly remembers sir.
My brother is an alumnus of IIT Madras. According to him, it was a brilliant experience to have V.Balakrishnan sir as a teacher.
The experience of watching sir’s lectures is the same as watching Cosmos or listening to Feynman’s lectures. He has an amazingly strong grasp on his subject. A lot of times, teachers don’t bother to teach some of the most important derivations. Instead, they put the entire burden on the students to figure out those derivations.
Sir on the other hand, teaches his students every detail of a concept/calculation. He approaches every single problem from different angles, and each one of those angles opens a new perspective. Sir was the reason my brother decided to switch from Electrical Engineering to Applied Physics.
V.Balakrishnan sir is a source of inspiration to many students.
As far as my knowledge goes, this is probably not the same. From what most people know, ARM is an old RISC processor. X86 is the older scaled-down version and as far as Shakti is concerned, it is a RISC-V processor which is a later version of the ARM (Acorn’s RISC Machine). It also follows the same concepts.
This probably means that if you are planning to do something new with Shakti, it would not have the outdated RISC label to it.
Talking solely about Shakti, it is mostly used as an exercise to demonstrate its ability to do design work and build processors in our country. The bar set here is quite low. They should make Silicon like the one at TSMC and that would probably have a much more lasting impact. This will possibly take some time but they will be there soon.
