Candidates eligible for JEE Advanced 2025 or 2026 can directly join the programme after verification of their credentials. They can begin foundation courses and pursue the programme alongside another degree.

IIT Madras BS in Management & Data Science Admission 2026 Open

IIT Madras has announced the launch of its BS in Management and Data Science programme for the May 2026 session. Interested candidates can submit their applications online until the last date, which is May 30, 2026. The programme is designed to provide students with strong fundamentals in management and data science, along with advanced analytical skills to meet the growing industry demand.

As per the official information, candidates who have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from any recognised board are eligible to apply, irrespective of age or academic background. The course will be delivered in an online mode with coursework, tutorials, and case discussions, while quizzes and examinations will be conducted in person. The programme offers flexibility, allowing learners to study from anywhere and choose the number of courses per term.

The programme leads to a BS Degree in Management and Data Science. Students also have the flexibility to exit early with a Foundation Level Certificate or complete the Diploma Level to receive a Diploma in Data Analytics for Business.

The admission process begins with a qualifier stage. Applicants will receive access to four weeks of foundation-level content covering Mathematics, Statistics, Computational Thinking, and English. Candidates who secure the minimum required scores in weekly assignments will be eligible to appear for the Qualifier Exam. Those who clear the exam will continue in the programme, while others can reappear.

The application fee for the programme is ₹4,000 for General and OBC candidates, ₹2,000 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates, and ₹1,000 for applicants belonging to SC or ST categories who are also PwD.
