Admission:
I chose this college because this college provides us such online courses through which we can learn very well about data science, computer language and computer science.
This course is divided into 3 levels.The first level is federation level, the second level is diploma level and the third level is degree level.When we complete all these levels, our convocation takes place and we get the degree from IIT Madras.
This college also provides us placements, if we score well then we may get good placements.
So I chose this course and this course was provided by IIT Madras which is a very good thing in itself.

It's an online Degree. I am actually studying in IISER Bhopal in offline mode pursuing full time degree.
The admission procedure for IIT Madras online degree is through 2 ways . Either students are required to qualify for JEE advance through JEE mains or they have to clear the qualifier exam to get enrolled , which is the most followed path

- Even though it's an online Degree, the environment is quite engaging. They divided students in 12 houses and organize many intra house competition to attain maximum participation of the students.
- It's IIT so of course on teachers there's no doubt. Professors of this course are not only limited to IITM they have teachers from many more IITs and top reputed colleges like CMI,ISI etc.
- Healthy discussion, they have a separate discussion forum where students can discuss anything either its about academics or their hobbies.
Admission:
Students have to give an entrance exam conducted by IITM itself, the fee for which is 3000 INR(1,500 INR for SC/ST) but JEE students who have qualified for JEE Advanced don't need to give the exam but have to register for the program by paying the same fee. Students from any background can avail for this Degree if they have English and Maths as the main subject in 10th class, there is no age barrier as well. After the registration you will be enrolled in program and they will provide you 4 weeks of content, the exam will come from these content only. There is no cutoff for this exam but you have to score minimum 40% in qualifier exam to continue program(35% for OBC/EWS and 30% for SC/ST). The registraion opens three times a year i.e.November,June and August the time may vary a little bit.

There are two ways to enter this course first is jee based entry if you are eligible for jee advanced you can directly take admission otherwise you have to give a exam course content and other necessary information will be provided by iitm there is some cutoff that you have to clear to get admission

M.Tech Bioprocess Engineering specifically revolves around Mathematical concepts and even contains concepts related to engineering mathematics. It is most suitable for those who study Engineering Mathematics in their Bachelor's program. For those with only GATE-level Math knowledge, it might be difficult to cope and you might even end with a low CGPA.
Some core subjects that contain tough Mathematical concepts include
- Transport Phenomenon
- Thermodynamics in Biochemical Engineering
- Bioprocess Control
- Downstream Processing
Additionally, there are assignments related to coding in MATLAB in Thermodynamics and Bioprocess Control which are very challenging unless you find good assistance by your friends or seniors.
The coursework also contains projects in both dry and wet labs. The former is related to modeling/simulation/coding either in MATLAB or Python while the latter are experimental projects conducted in labs.
