B.Tech Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering is 4- year long undergraduate engineering program aimed at preparing students in the concepts of design and construction of marine crafts and structures. B. Tech Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering: Eligibility
The criteria determining the minimum eligible score for admission to the course may vary from one institute to the other. Generally, it lies between 40-50% aggregate marks. Students need to also have qualified the relevant State level entrance examination to be considered eligible to take part in the admission process.
Interested candidates are required to have qualified the 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as the main subjects.
Apart from the required minimum educational qualifications and age limit criteria, medical standards are also given much priority during admission to this course. After the completion of the program, successful candidates are required to take up challenging tasks while on a ship. For performing such tasks, candidates should satisfy certain health-related criteria.
Fundamental of engineering exam is an MCQ- based 8-hour examination. Most aspirants complete it by their graduation.
